A Coastal Christmas is not your typical retail store. We are a fast\-growing, high\-energy, year\-round Christmas retail brand with three premier coastal locations and a thriving online presence. We are seeking a driven, professional, and community\-minded General Manager to oversee operations, drive sales growth, and lead our teams across all locations.
This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in retail, loves building culture, and understands that performance, accountability, and community engagement all matter.
Position Overview
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations across all three store locations, ensuring exceptional customer experience, maximizing sales performance, managing staff, and driving strategic growth initiatives.
This role requires travel between Hilton Head Island, SC, Savannah, GA, and Fernandina Beach, FL.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership \& Team Management
- Recruit, train, and develop store managers and team members
- Maintain a strong, positive, high\-energy culture
- Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews
- Hold teams accountable to sales and service standards
Sales \& Performance
- Drive quarterly and annual revenue growth
- Monitor KPIs, labor percentages, and profitability
- Implement sales strategies and promotional initiatives
- Analyze performance reports and adjust strategy as needed
Operations
- Oversee inventory management and loss prevention
- Maintain visual merchandising standards
- Ensure operational consistency across all locations
- Improve systems and processes for efficiency
Community Engagement
- Must be an active member of the Chamber of Commerce in:
- Hilton Head Island
- Savannah
- Amelia Island
- Attend a minimum of 4 events per year per Chamber (averaging 1 per month across markets)
Mandatory Event Participation
The following events are Must\-Work Days
- Fernandina Beach Shrimp Festival (First Weekend in May)
- Black Friday (All Locations)
Qualifications
- 5\+ years of retail management experience (multi\-location preferred)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Proven ability to increase sales and improve operational performance
- Financial literacy and comfort analyzing reports
- Willingness to travel between locations
- Professional, outgoing, and community\-oriented personality
Christmas spirit is a plus.
