POSITION PURPOSE This position provides essential support to the marketing and communications team by assisting with internal communications, content creation, event preparation, and administrative tasks. This employee offers the customer the highest degree of service and promotes all Alliance Bank’s products and services. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1. High School diploma or equivalency. 2. Ability to read, write, and speak the English language, bilingual helpful. 3. Ability to offer Alliance Bank’s products and services. 4. Five (5) years of experience in banking or a job-related field or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. 5. A minimum of four (4) years of experience as an executive assistant is required. 6. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to deal with and respond to employees, customers, third-party vendors, and salespersons with tact, diplomacy, and a sense of urgency. 7. Marketing, digital print experience, and social media/web experience preferred. 8. Ability to perform secretarial duties. 9. Highly detailed-oriented with the ability to organize, schedule, and prioritize tasks, projects, and responsibilities as well as certain departmental functions to improve efficiency. 10. Ability to present a professional demeanor at all times. 11. Ability to communicate well over the telephone using proper grammar and telephone etiquette. 12. Ability to operate basic office equipment including a PC with job-related software. 13. Ability to handle bank and customer transactions with a high level of confidentiality. 14. Knowledge of state and federal regulations. 15. Knowledge of Alliance Bank’s products and services. 16. Schedules are prepared based on business needs and are subject to change at any time. This may include the need for evenings, weekends, or holiday coverage. 17. Office setting with moderately varied desk-oriented activity. 18. Repetitive movement of finger, wrist, and hand. 19. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, and kneel. 20. Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service. Promotes Alliance Bank’s culture through all interactions modeling the Alliance Bank way of Customer Experience. 1. Provide high-level administrative support to the SVP/Director of Marketing and Communications. 2. Assists the SVP/Director of Marketing and Communications in the timely management of all communication, including written, telephone, email, and voicemail. 3. Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and prepare presentations and reports. 4. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information. 5. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns, community events, and sponsorship activities. 6. Help manage social media content, email newsletters, and updates to the bank’s website. 7. Coordinate production and distribution of marketing materials (digital and print). 8. Lead and support the planning, logistics, and execution of internal and external events, including community gatherings, financial education workshops, grand openings, client appreciation events, and bank-hosted seminars. 9. Manage event timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, promotional materials, RSVPs, and post-event follow-ups. 10. Serve as a point of contact at events to ensure a seamless experience for attendees and partners. 11. Maintain CRM systems and track leads, referrals, and partnerships. 12. Utilize Marquis to run reports and gather data/statistics to share with key stakeholders. 13. Assist in preparing business proposals, sales presentations, and event follow-ups. 14. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning. 15. Schedule and coordinate new hiring training for Customer Experience. 16. Facilitate speakers, topics, and schedules for Experience Wednesday sessions. 17. Utilize, update, and organize Monday boards. 18. Employee may be issued bank-owned devices (such as cell phones, tablets, and/or laptops). In such cases, the employee is expected to regularly check and respond to phone calls, text messages, and/or emails. 19. Participate in community affairs to increase Alliance Bank’s visibility and to enhance new business opportunities. 20. Keep updated on all laws and regulations and Alliance Bank’s policies and procedures pertaining to this position. 21. Exemplary attendance and punctuality.
