Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose

This position is responsible for the strategic leadership, oversight and optimization of hospital and ambulatory revenue cycle operations. Provide visionary leadership while fostering strong partnerships with finance and hospital operational leaders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of revenue processes. Partners with the Chief Revenue Cycle Officer to identify and implement innovative, technology driven solutions that enhance revenue cycle performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management \& performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance revenue cycle operations while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of revenue processes.
  • Develop and implement training platform for new and existing revenue cycle employees.
  • Collaborate with managed care, hospital clinical and financial operations, and information technology leadership to design and implement strategies for denial management to minimize revenue loss.
  • Analyze and report on revenue cycle performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develops and manages the operating and capital budgets for operations, analyzes variances, develops plans and takes appropriate actions for productivity and performance improvements.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Finance/Business/related
