About This Role

Summary

This position will be charged with working with cutting edge technology and coordinating closely with our small and growing team as well as European HQ to solve customer application issues across multiple industries. The role involves providing day\-to\-day commercial and technical support to customers, colleagues, and contracted distribution partners. Core responsibilities will include product specification, quote generation, and technical review. Purchase order receipt, review and entry is required as needed.

Reports To: Customer Service Supervisor

Key Position Responsibilities

\- Technical Solutions Support: Gain an understanding of customer’s application permitting the proper selection and sizing of Bronkhorst products.

\- Sales Quotations: Develop and generate priced quotations in accordance with the customer’s specifications. Maintain and pursue existing quotations to assist direct sales staff and distribution partners with the closure of customer orders.

\- Order Entry: Receive and review incoming customer purchase orders for accurate product specifications and application information to ensure effective and accurate order entry.

\- Order Management Support: Provide delivery status, shipment tracking, and technical assistance or clarifications. Coordinate the return, exchange, or repair of customer owned Bronkhorst products.

\- Generate \& Maintain Customer Database: Utilize Bronkhorst business systems, develop and maintain customer contact information that permits an intimate understanding of the customer relationship.

Position Prerequisites

\- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and proven ability to effectively and professionally communicate with a variety of customers both external and internal.

\- Demonstrated comfort working in a virtual setting, including communicating effectively across locations and time zones. Experience collaborating asynchronously with globally distributed teams preferred.

\- Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to react professionally to a diverse range of complex problems. Must be able to effectively deal with customer issues on both a technical and commercial level.

\- Use of independent judgment to act responsibly and professionally in all interactions.

\- Ability to confidently define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

\- Computer skills to include an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Productivity \& Collaboration tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.), along with ability to learn internal Bronkhorst ERP systems.

Education

\- An associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred.

Experience

\- Prior experience in instrumentation service, technical customer support, or a technical selling environment is strongly desired.

Pay: $45,000\.00 \- $55,000\.00 per year
