Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on B2B markets and outside sales channels
- Oversee the implementation and utilization of Hubspot CRM to track pipeline activities, forecast accurately, and analyze sales data for actionable insights
- Collaborate with management team to craft targeted campaigns that generate leads and support business development initiatives
- Drive negotiations with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that maximize revenue opportunities
- Manage account relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth through effective account management practices
- Analyze sales metrics regularly to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas requiring strategic adjustments
- Facilitate training on technical products and solutions to enhance the team’s knowledge in technology sales and technical sales approaches
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales (minimum 5 years in service\- or consultant\-related sales,) science background (at least a BS in biology) and experience with government regulations.
- A willingness to learn regulations and safety issues related to foods, food ingredients, dietary supplements and cosmetics.
- Maintain relationships with established clients (the major portion of our revenue is from established clients), and forming new relationships with potential clients.
- Expertise in business development strategies that expand market reach and increase revenue streams
- Proficiency with Hubspot CRM platform for data analysis and pipeline management
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer service\-oriented mindset
- Solid understanding of marketing principles as they relate to driving sales growth
- Leadership qualities that inspire motivation, accountability, and continuous improvement within teams
- Some travel is expected (approx. 3\-4 trade shows per year).
