The Sales Operations \& Analytics Intern will gain hands\-on exposure to the commercial engine of a high\-growth medical device company. This role sits at the intersection of data, analytics, systems, and strategy, supporting initiatives that improve sales effectiveness, customer intelligence, and leadership decision\-making.

The intern will partner closely with Sales Operations, Sales Leadership, Finance, and IT on real, production\-facing projects—contributing meaningful analysis and deliverables that directly support revenue growth and field productivity.

In This Role, You Will

  • Support data quality and customer intelligence initiatives, including physician\-to\-account mapping, data cleansing, and identification of data gaps or inconsistencies across Salesforce and related systems
  • Analyze commercial programs and investments to assess utilization, effectiveness, and potential return, providing insight to Sales and Finance leadership
  • Partner with Sales Operations and field leadership to gather requirements and support the development of Tableau dashboards used for territory management, performance tracking, and coaching
  • Assist in evaluating Tableau Next and Salesforce embedded analytics business cases, including benchmarking available data, assessing data readiness, and identifying high\-impact reporting opportunities
  • Conduct research and analysis on sales workflows, reporting processes, and analytics best practices to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement
  • Collaborate cross\-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to support commercial operations initiatives
  • Prepare summary analyses, presentations, and documentation for leadership review
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Education: Current junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Work Location: Pleasanton, CA
  • Travel: Minimal (\~5%)
  • Full time employment
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word)

  • Competitive hourly rate of $28/hr \- $32\.00/hr
