As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales \& Communications to lead our revenue growth while elevating how we connect with clients, partners, and internal teams. This role combines strategic sales leadership with clear, effective communication that strengthens relationships, drives engagement, and enhances our brand presence.

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand customer base and grow revenue across regional and national markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, brokers, and direct clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long\-term agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring competitive positioning.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.

Communications Leadership

  • Oversee client communications to ensure timely, accurate, and professional responses across all touchpoints.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, dispatch, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Create and manage communication strategies for customer updates, service announcements, and company initiatives.
  • Support driver and internal communications, ensuring teams are informed, motivated, and aligned with company goals.
  • Strengthen brand presence through client outreach, presentations, proposals, and industry networking.

Leadership \& Strategy

  • Lead, coach, and develop sales and communications staff, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
  • Partner with ownership to set revenue goals, customer engagement strategies, and long\-term growth plans.
  • Utilize KPIs and feedback to track performance, optimize communication processes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (2\+ years) in trucking, logistics, or transportation, with both sales and communications leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of freight sales, brokerage, and client relationship management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Experience creating and implementing communication strategies that enhance customer relationships and internal alignment.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and problem\-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset.
