About This Role
The Director of Marketing Operations will own the strategy, implementation, governance, and continuous optimization of HubSpot as the central source of truth for CRM, pipeline management, campaign execution, and reporting. This leader partners closely with Practice Area leaders, Marketing, Business Development, and Finance to ensure HubSpot enables predictable revenue performance, data quality, and cross\-functional alignment.
This role blends strategic vision with hands\-on execution, from designing HubSpot processes to supporting pipeline reporting, campaign analytics, and user adoption, ensuring teams can confidently use HubSpot to track, advance, and measure prospects and customers throughout the full sales lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Hubspot Strategy \& Platform Leadership
- Serve as the primary HubSpot SME, providing day\-to\-day support, governance, and best\-practice guidance.
- Onboard and educate users across Practice Areas and Marketing on CRM workflows, deal progression, contact management, and pipeline hygiene.
- Develop documentation, playbooks, and training materials that scale knowledge and drive consistent platform adoption.
Campaign Enablement \& Marketing Support
- Support Marketing in campaign setup, audience segmentation, nurture streams, and multi\-channel execution using HubSpot tools.
- Partner with campaign owners to ensure tracking standards, lead routing, and measurement frameworks are in place.
- Establish and reinforce processes for test/control measurement, campaign tagging, and attribution.
Reporting, Analytics \& Insights
- Enable self\-service reporting for key stakeholders while ensuring consistent definitions and data integrity.
- Identify trends and opportunities to optimize campaign performance and share actionable insights with cross\-functional partners.
Data Quality \& Governance
- Define and enforce CRM data standards, governance policies, and lifecycle stage definitions.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to maintain clean, accurate Account, Contact, and Activity data.
- Audit CRM health regularly and steward coordinated remediation plans.
Cross\-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between marketing, business development and practice area leaders to align on process, definitions, and system requirements.
- Lead regular ops rhythm and alignment meetings for GTM system updates, priority setting, and feedback loops.
Experience
- 7\+ years of GTM operations, RevOps, CRM operations, or related experience.
- Strong track record managing HubSpot (or equivalent enterprise CRM/marketing platforms) for commercial functions.
- Demonstrated success driving cross\-functional operational excellence with Marketing and Leadership teams.
Technical Skills
- Expert user of HubSpot CRM, workflows, reporting, sequences, lists, campaign tooling, and integrations.
- Skilled in data management best practices, reporting tools, SQL or analytics (preferred but not required).
- Comfortable navigating APIs and integrations with related systems (e.g., event platforms, sales enablement, enrichment tools).
Leadership \& Communication
- Exceptional communicator with ability to explain technical concepts to non\-technical audiences.
- Collaborative, solution\-oriented, and able to influence without direct authority.
- Highly organized, process\-driven, with a bias toward scaling documentation and repeatable best practices.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field (preferred).
- HubSpot certifications or similar CRM/operations credentials a plus.

- A documented, prioritized HubSpot roadmap that has been communicated and adopted across GTM functions.
- Clear, consistent CRM data standards and governance practices in place with measurable improvement in data quality.
- Reliable reporting suite providing visibility into pipeline performance and marketing contribution that stakeholders trust and use.
- High adoption and confidence in HubSpot workflows and tools across Marketing and Practice Area teams.
- HubSpot serving as the single source of truth for deal progression, campaign measurement, and GTM performance.

- Process Discipline \& Compliance: Follows established systems, standard operating procedures, and internal controls while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive employee data and demonstrates a strong risk\-awareness mindset.
- Employee Service Orientation: Provides responsive, clear, and respectful support to employees at all levels. Communicates complex payroll and benefits information in an understandable manner and resolves inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and timeliness.
- Technical \& Systems Proficiency: Effectively leverages UKG Ready, HRIS, and related tools to manage payroll and benefits administration. Uses reporting and data analysis capabilities to improve accuracy, reduce manual effort, and support informed decision\-making.
- Organization \& Time Management: Demonstrates exceptional organization and prioritization skills, managing multiple deadlines and cyclical demands (e.g., payroll processing, open enrollment, year\-end reporting) with consistency and reliability.

Compensation Structure
- Base Salary: Competitive and market\-aligned, reviewed bi\-annually.
- Annual Incentive: Target of 15% of base compensation, tied to performance against qualitative metrics.
