DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As the Director of Business Operations for the Bureau of Long\-Term Care (BLTC), you will be responsible for driving the strategic vision and management necessary to maintain the organization's operational integrity and financial strength. By establishing robust operational controls and streamlined administrative procedures, you will ensure that BLTC possesses the infrastructure and staffing required to expand effectively while maximizing overall efficiency. You will serve as a central point of coordination, working across all bureaus and divisions to address organizational needs with professional excellence and precision. While navigating these complex responsibilities, a candidate with a strong background in health care operations is preferred to best support the bureau's mission of delivering high\-quality long\-term care services.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:* Full\-time employment, 37\.5 hours per week

  • Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday \- Friday, with a 45\-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non\-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING \& ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements

  • One year as an Administrative Officer 4 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Eight years of experience in progressively responsible and varied management or staff work, including personnel management, fiscal management, budgeting,or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:* You must possess a valid federal or state\-issued photo ID and pass a favorable NCIC screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):* Experience with the following

  • Healthcare business operations
  • Healthcare regulations
  • Developing a strategic plan and ensuring strategic goals are achieved
  • Ensuring standardization and consistency in business and operational practices
