Job Overview

The Sales Operations Analyst will be a key member of the organization. They will assist in driving operational aspects of the sales process, with a focus on pipeline management, CRM optimization, and business review processes. This role is critical to improving the efficiency of the sales team, ensuring accurate forecasting, and utilizing data analytics to drive strategic decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales Data Management:Maintain sales data integrity within CRM systems and other sales\-related platforms. Ensure accuracy in sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and KPIs .
  • Quote\-to\-Cash Process Management:Oversee the entire quote\-to\-cash process, from the development of business proposals and contracts to order fulfilment, ensuring smooth hand\-offs between departments and a streamlined sales cycle.
  • Process Improvement:Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of sales operations. Collaborate with regional sales leadership to optimize policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Cross\-functional Collaboration:Partner with Finance and Sales teams to improve sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales attainment strategies. Provide data\-driven insights to inform pricing decisions and sales execution.
  • Sales Technology Oversight:Manage the sales tech stack, including CRM and automation tools, ensuring that the systems support the sales process effectively and provide actionable insights
  • Reporting \& Analysis:Develop and manage regular sales reports and dashboards to monitor team performance and identify trends or areas of improvement. Use this data to inform strategic decision\-making.
  • Training \& Support:Support the onboarding and continuous training of sales team members to ensure they utilize the available tools and processes efficiently.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3\+ years of experience in sales operations, preferably in a B2B industrial setting
  • Pipeline Management \& Forecasting: Drive and assist pipeline forecasting and sales operations
  • Sales Data \& Analytics Expertise: Experience in utilizing advanced analytics for sales forecasting and decision\-making SAP \& CRM Simplification \& Optimization: Expertise in SAP \& CRM systems, ensuring ease of use for the sales team while improving efficiency
  • Experience with Quote\-to\-Cash Processes: Proven experience in managing the full quote\-to\-cash process, including business reviews, order intake, proposals, quote generation, and order fulfilment, with a focus on optimizing pricing strategies and sales execution in a technical or industrial B2B environment.
  • Customer centric attitude coupled with a deep curiosity to understand customer needs behaviors and market dynamics.

  • Experience in collaborating across functions to ensure alignment between regional sales, marketing, pricing, strategic accounts, and other departments.
