We’re growing — and we’re looking for a highly organized, detail\-driven professional to own the quoting and submission lifecycle for our group benefits business. If you thrive at the intersection of sales strategy, carrier coordination, and operational execution — this is your role.
Job Summary This role is critical in driving business growth and operational excellence by managing the full lifecycle of benefit submissions, proposals, and carrier collaboration for group clients. As a strategic liaison between sales agents and carrier partners, this role ensures accurate and timely execution of RFPs, plan proposals, and enrollment submissions.
In addition to owning quoting processes and proposal development, this role builds and maintains submission protocols, training guides, and carrier\-specific underwriting documentation across multiple states. The Benefits Sales Operations Specialistalso maintains benefit plan data, manages key contact data, and produces high\-impact benefit presentation materials to support sales success.
This position is foundational to both the agency’s new business operations and client retention strategy, with clear potential to grow into a leadership or supervisory role through demonstrated ownership, innovation, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
Submission \& Proposal Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of group benefit submissions (2–200 lives)
- Distribute and track RFPs with carrier partners for all group sizes
- Prepare proposal spreadsheets and client\-ready presentations
- Manage DocuSign workspaces and carrier documentation
- Secure carrier approvals and ensure clean implementation
Carrier \& Sales Collaboration
- Serve as a primary contact between agents and carriers
- Build competitive plan comparisons aligned with funding strategies
- Maintain carrier underwriting documentation across multiple states
Process \& Systems Leadership
- Build carrier submission guides and internal workflows
- Maintain CRM and carrier data integrity
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve quoting processes
- Support plan library and proposal template management
Qualifications
- 2–4\+ years in employee benefits brokerage, benefits administration, or insurance operations
- Experience managing RFPs, submissions, or quoting workflows
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation)
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Health \& Life License preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Salary offered will be within the range listed based on experience and if candidate already has a current Life \& Health License.

Pay: $25\.00 \- $31\.25 per hour
