Magellan Technology is a multifaceted company that proudly operates in Buffalo, NY. Over the last 15 years, we have built strong foundations in B2B distribution and commercial real estate, employing over 300 dedicated people across our organization. Our primary operation, a B2B e\-cigarette distributor, is partnered with several thousand retailers nationwide. Alongside that, we continue to develop our real estate portfolio across commercial properties.
Location
The main office is located on Genesee St in Cheektowaga with other locations located in and around Buffalo, NY.

What you will be doing
This position is a cross\-functional administrative role that supports the Chief Operating Officer and other company leadership by managing operational, tax, legal, accounting, and other vital processes. You’ll help ensure critical business functions, such as compliance, legal, real estate, and tax, run smoothly and remain in good standing. You’ll also have operational freedom and the opportunity to identify and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Act as the liaison between company leaders and the departments managing compliance, legal, accounting, and tax matters
- Coordinate with attorneys, state agencies, and compliance teams to ensure timely and accurate responses
- Analyze the organization’s processes and workflows and develop strategies to ensure departments are functioning efficiently
- Support the organization’s initiatives in B2B and real estate divisions
- Track metrics and prepare summaries to assess departmental performance
- Review and respond to official correspondence and maintain organized records
- Oversee operational standards, preventative maintenance, and property\-related schedules
- Perform other duties as assigned
The education and experience you need
- Education (Minimum Needed): Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's preferred (Business Administration or related)
- Experience (Minimum Needed): 2–3 years in an administrative, accounting, operations, or compliance support role
- Special Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills; comfort corresponding with attorneys, state agencies, and vendors; capable of independent decision\-making; accounting or book\-keeping skills preferred
- Traits: Reliable, discreet, and capable of handling sensitive matters with integrity and sound judgment
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: $70,000\.00 per year
