Job Summary
Our Sales Operations Manager is a combination sales operations and sales management professional. We are a growth company, and this is a growth position requiring direct responsibility and longer hours. You will take full ownership on sales support, working side by side directly with our founding team and lean sales team to organize, report, and build sales across MI, NY, and soon NJ. Additional support on marketing, customer interaction, and lead generation are expected. Industry experience preferred but not required.
Duties
- Balance sales administration (operations) and sales management.
- Build and oversee all sales data and sales workflow progress in the CRM system.
- Build monthly review decks to lead discussions on sales business performance and how we increased market share. This will require a weekly in\-person update for NY \& NJ.
- Track and enforce sales quota, sales performance, and expense budgets across high performing sales professionals.
- Help with marketing efforts and lead generation through a monthly mailer, email, and push marketing. Secondary support may include vendor days, trade shows, and shipping store displays.
- Collaborate with Finance team on weekly review of collections tracking.
- Manage and analyze sales data through existing platforms like Leaflink, Nabis, and Pistil leading to directly attributable action to improve sales team performance.
- Strong communicator and collaborator with ability to work with some difficult personalities in our industry sector.
- Jump in whenever needed. This may include call list leadgen, follow\-ups, or collections support. We are a flexible organization and roles may adjust.
- Longer work hours are to be expected. We don't mind paying more for dedicated talent, and have additional performance based bonuses like profit sharing. You will be directly rewarded for your own work results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Highly organized, manage multiple projects independently in a fast paced, high growth market.
- Proven experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related role.
- Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, systemic operations, and sales technologies.
- Ability to travel cross state as needed to report to management.
- This is a full time, 50\-60\+ hour weekly, exempt position.
Pay: $80,000\.00 \- $100,000\.00 per year
