Position Summary Reporting to the EVP of Marketing and Results, the Director of Marketing Operations helps drive day\-to\-day marketing execution, systems, analytics, and sales enablement. This role operationalizes strategy across digital, content, PR, events, and demand programs; leads pitch content and oversees RFP/RFI processes; and supports development and delivery of Exhibitus’ Results Division (ROI analytics, reporting, and thought leadership). The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with hands\-on execution and cross\-functional collaboration to manage marketing operations at large.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and operationally manage the marketing strategy and calendar developed by the EVP; manage campaign timelines, budgets, and performance reporting.
  • Manage integrated campaigns across channels, including:
  • Advertising: Plan and execute targeted print/digital buys (e.g., Exhibitor Magazine, Event Marketer, Exhibit City News, Events in America) and manage a monthly creative process with agency partners.
  • Social Media: Work with Marketing Communication \& Event Specialist to maintain and grow an active B2B presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, Pinterest) with weekly posts across themes: Client Work, Blog Content, Employee Lifestyle, Industry Topics, Fun/Brand moments.
  • Content Development: Work with Marketing Content Manager to produce/coordinate blogs, white papers, eBooks, infographics; support repurposing for web, social, automation, PR, and sales.
  • Website \& SEO: Coordinate CMS updates, long‑tail keyword strategy, on\-page optimization, landing pages, and conversion paths.
  • Marketing Automation: Deploy segmented email campaigns, lead nurture programs, and campaign metrics; maintain data hygiene and workflows.
  • PR \& Thought Leadership: Work with the Marketing team to draft/traffic press releases, manage media opportunities, award entries, and earned media/article placements to elevate brand reputation.
  • Corporate Events: Work with the Marketing team to plan, manage, and execute trade shows, seminars/webinars, and client\-facing events; coordinate booth and experience requirements with Design.
  • Build and maintain digital/print collateral (capabilities brochure, case studies, interactive sales media, presentations).
  • Partner with CRO and AEs on prospecting strategies, list sourcing, lead gen programs, and marketing\-supported outreach.
  • Renew annual memberships, manage association sponsorships, initiate media plans, and track deliverables/analytics for Marketing \& Results Division (objectives, KPIs, reporting cadence).
  • Provide content and coordination support for industry advocacy and employer\-brand/recruitment content, in partnership with HR.
  • Under the EVP’s leadership, coordinate logistics, communications, and budgets for internal events (Atlanta/Chicago) and BeyondUs charitable giving initiatives.
  • Operationally manage the intake, coordinate, and produce submissions; answer qualification questions; align messaging with prospect objectives and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accessible, on\-brand templates and kits (capabilities, agency work, rental gallery, interactive engagement, AE\-editable PPT).
  • Prepare presenters, tailor narratives, and join face\-to\-face and virtual presentations as required.
  • Track conversion, reasons for loss, and insights; recommend continuous improvements to messaging, targeting, and process.
  • Support the EVP in ROI analytics and research as a competitive differentiator for Exhibitus and its clients; apply statistical/analytical methods to interpret trade show performance.
  • Implement and document analytical approaches (objectives setting, targeting, messaging, benchmarking) and present findings to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Contribute to the development and packaging of standard ROI products and custom consulting offerings; evolve documentation and delivery playbooks.
  • Help maintain and extend the existing proprietary materials/modules and online tools (e.g., self\-assessment, ROI models, marketing materials, blogs, case studies).
  • Collaborate with IT and SBUs to improve data pipelines, reporting quality, and dashboarding; ensure consistency in techniques, key findings, and recommendations.
  • Support sales onboarding and enablement for Results Division services; educate account teams on metrics, informatics capabilities, and client expectations.
  • Manage and report on RD research deliverables (e.g., V4I, assessments, selection services), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and executive\-ready outputs.
  • Prepare materials and reporting that enable the EVP’s participation in executive and management meetings; translate strategic decisions into operational plans.
  • Uphold brand standards, data quality, and compliance with company policies and leadership directives.
  • Maintain timely documentation, budgets, dashboards, and post\-mortems for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate vendor/agency relationships and guide future staff or contractor assignments as the team scales.

Qualifications

Required

  • 7–10\+ years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on marketing operations, analytics, and sales enablement
  • Demonstrated success executing integrated campaigns (paid, social, content, PR, events) and measuring performance/ROI
  • Hands\-on experience with marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot/Marketo/Pardot), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), SEO/PPC, and web CMS (e.g., WordPress)
  • Strong analytical skills: building dashboards, tracking KPIs, interpreting campaign/pipeline data, and presenting insights to leadership
  • Excellent project management, writing, and presentation skills; comfortable supporting RFP/RFI processes and executive\-level pitches
  • Experience coordinating trade shows, webinars, or experiential programs

Preferred

  • Background in experiential marketing, exhibits, events, or related B2B services
  • Familiarity with ROI methodologies, A/B testing, attribution models, and benchmarking
  • Experience with BI/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and/or light SQL
  • Team leadership or vendor/agency management experience
