Business Operations Manager

About This Role

We are looking for a tech\-savvy, process\-oriented Operations Manager to support the work of Moceans Center for Independent Living. In a hybrid work environment, our success depends on coordination between people, process and platforms. This role ensures that our team, both in\-office and remote, has the support they need to focus on our mission of independence and advocacy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Systems \& Technology Management Evaluate current software and hardware to ensure they meet the needs of a hybrid workforce.
• Human Resources Lifecycle : Onboarding and offboarding process
• Policy Support: Assist in maintaining company policies.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for internal technical questions and coordinate with external IT vendors when necessary.
• Process Optimization: Audit existing workflows and implement digital solutions to reduce manual labor and increase efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Operational Experience: 3\+ years in operations, office management, HR or a similar role (experience in a non\-profit or CIL environment is a huge plus).
• Tech\-Proficient : comfortable navigating and evaluating SaaS platforms, troubleshooting basic hardware/software issues, training new systems quickly.
• Adaptability: You thrive in a hybrid environment and understand the unique challenges of remote team engagement. Strong problem\-solving and organizational skills.
• Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive HR information with absolute confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations, great people skills and a team orientation.
• Familiarity with disability services
• Adaptability, patience and self motivation competencies
• State, Federal Criminal Background checks and Central Registry check
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work independently

Job Type: Part\-time

Pay: $56,000\.00 \- $62,000\.00 per year
