About This Role

**Job Overview** We are seeking a highly organized, business-minded Operations & Deal Manager to support and grow two core business lines: Real Estate Transactions and Marine Staffing / Crew Placement. This role sits at the center of deal execution, client coordination, documentation, and operational flow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of managing multiple pipelines simultaneously while communicating professionally with clients, partners, and vendors. **Responsibilities** * A. Real Estate Operations • * Manage real estate transactions from contract to closing • * Coordinate with buyers, sellers, agents, attorneys, lenders, and inspectors • * Prepare and track contracts, amendments, disclosures, and closing timelines • * Assist with pricing strategy, market research, and basic investment analysis • * Manage listings, marketing coordination, and lead follow-ups • * Track deal pipeline, deadlines, and compliance requirements • * Maintain organized records and transaction files * B. Marine Staffing & Crew Operations • * Coordinate recruitment and placement of marine personnel • * Screen candidates and verify licenses, certifications, and documentation • * Communicate with ship owners, operators, and marine clients • * Manage crew schedules, rotations, contracts, and replacements • * Maintain staffing database and placement pipeline • * Assist with onboarding, compliance, and payroll coordination • * Handle urgent staffing needs and issue resolution * C. General Business Operations • * Act as primary operational point of contact for both business lines • Track deals, placements, commissions, and operational KPIs • * Maintain CRM, spreadsheets, and internal reporting systems • * Draft emails, agreements, and internal process documents • * Support process improvement, automation, and scaling efforts • * Maintain confidentiality and professionalism across all matters **Experience** * • Experience in operations, transaction coordination, staffing, or recruiting • * Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workflows • * Excellent written and verbal communication skills • * Comfortable working independently and making judgment calls • * Familiarity with contracts, timelines, and compliance processes • * Proficient in Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and digital tools • * Multilingual (English + Chinese/Korean/Spanish/Portuguese other) a strong plus • * Real estate or maritime experience preferred but not required **Compensation & Growth** * Monthly salary or retainer (based on experience) • * Performance-based bonuses (per closed deal / successful placement) • * Long-term growth into Senior Operations Manager or Partner-level role • * High visibility and direct impact on business expansion **Why This Role Matters** * • See both revenue and operations • * Work directly with ownership • * Influence systems, structure, and scale • * Grow alongside the business Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temp-to-hire, Internship Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: * Commuter assistance * Employee discount * Employee stock purchase plan * Flexible schedule * Paid time off * Relocation assistance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cranston, RI 02910
