Crafted Beverages is AFH’s next major growth engine, positioned at the intersection of breakthrough innovation and elevated consumer experience. AFH operates in a highly dynamic, multi channel environment—requiring efficient operating systems, disciplined execution, and scalable commercial and operational models across diverse partners.

The Business Model Enablement team translates Crafted strategy into repeatable operating systems, codified standards, and partner ready execution models that enable the brand to scale reliably across thousands of outlets.

The Director, Business Model Enablement serves as the operational architect for Crafted Beverages’ partner ecosystem. The role owns the design, validation, and governance of the operating model required to scale a new Crafted concept across franchise, license, and direct operated environments. This includes transforming the concept into a franchise ready, financially sound, and operationally disciplined system, ensuring consistent execution, and enabling rapid scale through partners.

Responsibilities

Operating System Design \& Governance:* Build and govern the partner operating system—including SOPs, food safety/quality gates, brand standards, training frameworks, and certification pathways.

  • Translate the Crafted concept into a scalable unit model that can be deployed nationally across diverse partners and environments.
  • Stand up onboarding programs, unit level scorecards, and performance dashboards to ensure operational discipline and continuous improvement.

Concept Validation \& Unit Economics:* Validate the operating model through pilots, refining menu architecture, equipment requirements, workflow standards, and operator experience based on real world learning.

  • Build and refine unit economics across formats, geographies, and customer types—including fees, royalties, margins, payback periods, and IRRs.
  • Establish operator KPIs (e.g., throughput, labor productivity, SKU efficiency) and embed them into performance management routines.

Expansion \& Scale Enablement:* Drive disciplined scale\-up through franchising, licensing, and partner network expansion, ensuring a unified operating and brand experience across all touchpoints.

  • Create early proof points to validate the model and accelerate national expansion.
  • Partner with Commercial, Customer Teams, and Equipment to ensure deployment readiness and execution continuity.

Cross\-Functional Leadership \& Governance:* Influence and align cross functional teams (R\&D, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal) to convert strategy into P\&L positive execution.

  • Ensure compliance, contract clarity, service SLAs, and operational rigor across the partner ecosystem.
  • Serve as a key integrator between strategic design, operational execution, and partner experience.

Compensation \& Benefits:* The expected compensation range for this position is between $132,200 \- $262,400\.

  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
  • Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.

Qualifications

  • 8–10\+ years in F\&B franchise operations, operating standards, commercialization, or business model enablement.
  • Proven experience launching or scaling franchise concepts and owning unit economics and P\&L performance.
  • Strong operator mindset with the ability to translate strategy into action in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
  • Experience codifying operating systems for scale and leading change across partner ecosystems.
  • Data driven decision making; comfort with field immersion and store back problem solving.
  • Exceptional cross functional leadership and influence
