Why does the job exist?
Provides Business Operations support to the Fleet Headquarters and Service Center located in Santa Fe.
How does it get done?
- Scheduling officers and civilians for services and repairs
- Data entry into Chevin Fleet Management software such as opening work orders
- Working closely with officers and civilians to ensure that vehicles are repaired in a timely manner
- Managing the Pool Cars ensuring that they are signed out properly and returned in good order
- Requesting Purchase Orders and processing invoices for payments
- Assisting other Business Operations Specialist with the processing of invoices and processing Per Diem for travel
- Provide support to other Administrators and Technicians
- Assist with auction prep, such as compiling information for units being sold, and day of recording details sale information

Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or Equivalency and one (1\) year of experience in office administration, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting, auditing, cash management, contract management, and/or the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling one (1\) year may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Employment is subject to a pre\-employment background investigation and fingerprinting in accordance with all terms and conditions of federal and state law, rules and regulations; and is conditional pending results. Continued employment is contingent upon remaining felony free, per Section 5\.12\.1\.1 of the Criminal Justice Information Systems Security Policy.
In addition, the selected candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate from the State of New Mexico.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, stooping, bending, reaching and lifting up to twenty\-five (25\) pounds may be required.
