Job summary

As the Deal Desk Manager, you will act as the operational owner of Valimail's quoting infrastructure and processes. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, you'll oversee the systems and workflows that enable accurate pricing, deal approvals, and contract execution. You'll manage the partnership with Bluvium, ensuring that Salesforce (SFDC) and CPQ functionality meets business needs through proactive support, ticket management, and user acceptance testing (UAT). In addition, you'll collaborate with the DigiCert sales and operations teams to support accurate pricing and quoting for Valimail solutions sold through DigiCert's go\-to\-market motion.

What you will do

  • Own and manage the quoting process in Salesforce and CPQ, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Bluvium (SFDC partner) to triage tickets, test enhancements, and validate fixes through UAT and deployment cycles.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance to maintain consistent pricing and discounting structures across customer segments.
  • Oversee deal desk operations, ensuring opportunities, quotes, and approvals meet compliance and policy requirements.
  • Support non\-standard pricing and deal structure requests by coordinating with Sales leadership, Finance, and Legal for approvals.
  • Ensure deal accuracy and compliance by reviewing opportunity data, quote details, and order forms before close.
  • Maintain documentation and training materials related to quoting workflows, pricing policies, and discounting guidelines.
  • Assist the DigiCert team with pricing and quoting of Valimail products to ensure consistency in strategy and alignment across systems.
  • Support reporting and analytics related to quote volumes, discount trends, and approval cycle times.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives in the quote\-to\-cash process, working cross\-functionally to streamline operations.

What you will have

  • 2\+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and CPQ systems; experience partnering with or managing external system integrators (e.g., Bluvium) is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing ticket queues, conducting UAT, and supporting system configuration changes.
  • Understanding of SaaS pricing, packaging, and discounting principles.
  • Familiarity with order forms, payment terms, and quote\-to\-cash workflows.
  • Excellent problem\-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross\-functionally across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
  • High attention to detail and comfort working in a fast\-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with analytics tools (e.g., Sigma, Snowflake) is a plus.
