VMek is a leader in inspection and counting systems, delivering innovative automation solutions to the packaging and agricultural industries. We design and manufacture high\-performance automation equipment and rely on disciplined execution from inquiry through production.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail\-oriented Sales Operations Manager to execute and manage VMek’s sales operations with speed, accuracy, and discipline. This role ensures agricultural quoting, distributor support, CRM management, and sales\-to\-engineering alignment operate smoothly — allowing revenue to flow cleanly from opportunity to order.

Key ResponsibilitiesAgricultural Science Quoting

  • Prepare all agricultural equipment quotations
  • Coordinate with engineering to ensure technical accuracy
  • Ensure proposals are complete, accurate, and delivered on time
  • Manage quotation revisions and customer updates

Distributor \& Representative Quoting

  • Prepare quotations for distributor and rep groups
  • Provide pricing documentation and supporting materials
  • Track distributor deal flow and maintain visibility of open opportunities

Lead Management \& Qualification

  • Respond to inbound leads within 24 hours
  • Qualify and properly route packaging and agricultural leads
  • Maintain accurate and complete CRM records

CRM \& Forecast Discipline

  • Maintain HubSpot pipeline hygiene and data accuracy
  • Ensure proper deal stage tracking and activity logging
  • Produce weekly forecast reporting for leadership
  • Sync and coordinate sales\-related tasks with ClickUp

Sales\-to\-Engineering Handoff

  • Create complete and accurate order packets
  • Confirm project scope, technical expectations, and commercial terms
  • Prevent scope creep through disciplined documentation
  • Ensure smooth transition from sales to engineering and production

QualificationsRequired

  • 3\+ years of experience in sales operations, inside sales, or commercial project coordination
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working within CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Ability to coordinate across sales, engineering, and production teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accountability and execution discipline

Preferred

  • Experience in industrial equipment, automation, or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with quoting complex engineered systems
  • Experience using ClickUp or similar project management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with speed and accuracy
