About This Role
SUMMARY
The Director of Sales oversees all sales operations with the continuing goal of improving the reputation and sales of Austin Beerworks in the Central Texas region. You will work closely with ownership and department managers to create a plan that will grow sales and profitability within our existing areas of distribution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage On Premise/Off Premise Accounts
- Be knowledgeable of and informed with account owners, managers and beer buyers.
- Activate and manage items in retail chain accounts.
- Ensure brand representation in major off\-premise accounts (HEB, Whole Foods,Total Wine, Specs etc.)
- Establish and maintain relationships with wholesalers by improving communication channels and balancing sales growth with long term engagement.
- Work with design team to create promotional and sales materials for sales staff.
- Develop and execute promotions in on\-premise and off\-premise accounts.
Manage Sales Staff
- Develop and communicate roles, responsibilities, and sales goals for each salesperson.
- Provide training and direction when needed.
- Add and remove sales staff as necessary, with ultimate approval from co\-founders.
- Provide regular feedback and perform scheduled reviews for each salesperson.
- Communicate with sales team about upcoming releases and promotions
Create and Manage Company Sales Plan
- Coordinate with various department heads for adjustments to beverage portfolio and/or distribution area.
- Support ownership and Head Brewer with production/sales forecasting using sales data.
- Work with sales team to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Manage inventory efficiently using Ekos and maintain communication with production staff about current and future needs
- Work closely with ownership to accurately forecast budgets to support sales goals and production planning
Festivals/Events
- Represent Austin Beerworks at promotional events and festivals.

- $80,000\-$95,000 total salary depending on experience and qualifications
