Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of Business Operations to provide leadership and oversight for Custodial/Contract Services. The Senior Manager of Business Operations cultivates new and existing customer contracts, oversees contract fulfillment, ensures customer satisfaction, and supports organizational goals through effective staff leadership and program management.

Duties

• Develop new contracts by building relationships with potential and existing contracts in (Retail, Warehousing, Industrial, Offices, Banking, Healthcare, Hospitality, Multifamily, Senior Living, Commercial, and related sectors).
• Oversee contract intake, estimating, pricing, quoting, and billing processes for custodial contracts. Maintaining relationships with residential clients, commercial partners, and state\-based procurement networks.
• Collaborate with contracts to understand cleaning, janitorial service needs; propose tailored solutions that align with scope, schedule, quality, and budget requirements.
• Conduct site visits, assessments, and walkthroughs to inform pricing estimates and proposals. Overseeing monthly site inspections, reviewing monthly inspection reports, and conducting quarterly in\-person evaluations. Ensuring contract satisfaction, proactively address concerns or issues, and drive retention and growth.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate staff across custodial operations. Providing coaching to support skill development, accountability, and performance excellence. Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet both operational and training needs.
• Support organizational initiatives and collaborate with internal teams.
• Act as part of the leadership team in the absence of the COO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5–7 years of experience in custodial operations, manufacturing, or related trade environments.
• Supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience with workforce development, vocational training, or apprenticeship programs preferred.
• Sales, estimating, or business operations experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage operations, pricing, and staff performance.
• Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to agency insurance carriers.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform essential physical activities associated with this job. Which can include standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 50 pounds unassisted), bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling (100 pounds of force)
• Ability to work in a workshop and production environment.
