About This Role
Cultiveight Communications is an integrated marketing agency that helps businesses build cohesive marketing strategies, strengthen their connection to sales, and turn scattered efforts into focused, sustainable systems. We work as embedded strategic partners for our clients: invested in their outcomes, close to their work, and committed to doing it well.
We're growing, and we're looking for someone to grow with us. This is a part\-time independent contractor role designed to expand as the relationship does.
The Role
You'll be embedded in active client accounts across industries, understanding what each client is working toward, why decisions are being made, and what's on the horizon. You'll own the planning layer: how content and campaigns are structured, sequenced, and distributed. You'll build and refine operational systems as the work evolves, create the frameworks that make execution clear, and help coordinate who is doing what so nothing stalls.
When a task is yours to own completely, you own it. When it needs to be handed off, you've already set it up well.
Who You Are
You have genuine marketing knowledge: channels, communications strategy, and the reasoning behind what works. You're a systems thinker who understands why structure matters and how it serves the work, not just organized for the sake of it.
You're a quick learner who is genuinely curious and solution\-oriented. When something is unfamiliar, you figure it out. When something isn't working, you come with options, not just the problem.
You're reliable. You follow through. You communicate without being chased. You work autonomously and know when to loop someone in. You're patient, empathetic, well\-spoken, and adaptable.
You care about the quality of your work because it matters to you. You have taste, and your portfolio reflects it. And you're the kind of person who genuinely wants to understand the clients you're working with, their goals, their challenges, what they care about, because that's what makes the work good.
What you'll work on
- Content and campaign planning: sequencing, channel logic, timing, and distribution
- Building and maintaining systems that create consistency and scale
- Outlines and briefs that make work easier to execute and delegate
- Coordinating task ownership so projects move efficiently
- Executing tasks as needed, from copy to coordination, where end\-to\-end ownership makes the most sense
- Proactively flagging opportunities, gaps, and bottlenecks across accounts
Your experience
- 4–6 years in marketing with real strategic exposure: agency, corporate, or a strong mix
- Capable across copy and design, with work samples that show it
- Comfortable working independently in a fast\-paced, small\-team environment
The Details
This is a fully remote, part\-time 1099 contractor position starting at approximately 10 hours per week with real room to grow. Please include your hourly rate or preferred retainer when you apply.
