Summary
The Marketing Operations Manager, working in collaboration with and in support of the firm’s strategic initiatives , functions as a critical role on the Communications, Marketing and Business Development Team with a mission to drive operational excellence and collaboration throughout CMBD department in support of firm priorities. Ensures CMBD infrastructure (people, processes and technology) is optimized and aligned with business goals. Collaborates closely with the Director of Marketing Operations to execute tactically complex, cross\-department and interdepartmental initiatives that require strategic coordination and collaboration.
Location
This position can sit in our Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Seattle, Washington DC, or Wilmington office and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute on the strategic implementation of sophisticated marketing processes and procedures across several functional areas of the CMBD team.
- Create tools and resources that facilitate transparency within CMBD and with lawyers.
- Develop and execute against strategies that establish best practices within the department, while prioritizing lawyer experience.
- Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to establish a robust operational CMBD foundation that significantly propels strategic initiatives and activities.
- Support implementation and continued improvement of CMBD’s platforms and technology stack.
- Collaborate with several teams across the department to optimize workflow and productivity through resources alignment and technology.
- Identify best practices within the department, prioritizing lawyer experience.
- Expand centralized marketing support by improving and realigning process\-driven tasks.
- Drive robust CMBD training programs that improve the impact of CMBD’s efforts.
- Measure and analyze results of marketing initiatives and report on ROI.

Desired Skills
Self\-starter, with accomplished critical thinking skills and an understanding of the Marketing Operations function in a sophisticated global law firm. Must possess the ability to plan strategically, execute tactically and have a client service focus; ability to analyze data and use multiple sources of information to develop solutions and recommendations. Strong writing and presentation skills; ability to multi\-task and thrive in a fast\-paced environment; strong communication and data analysis skills; and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Power Point.
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Education
- Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum Years of Experience
- 4 years’ marketing/business development experience in a professional services environment.

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Work Environment
The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in\-office work, the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified in the firm’s discretion in the future.

The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $100,787 \- $146,900 per year depending on the candidate’s geographic market location.
The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
