About This Role

THE ROLE

Adimize is a lean digital marketing agency built for local service businesses — contractors, home service companies, and owner\-operators who need real results from paid ads, SEO, CRM automation, and websites. We're a small team, and that's intentional.

The founder's job is generating leads and building brand awareness through content — social media, newsletters, podcasts, video, and writing. That's his lane, and it has to stay his lane. Which means this role exists to run everything else.

You are the operational backbone of this business. When a client needs a website, you build it (not html). When a payment declines in Stripe, you catch it and follow up. When something breaks in GoHighLevel, you fix it. When a client has questions about their campaign performance, you get on the call. The founder cannot be pulled into any of that.

The person you're replacing built automations, set up AI voice and text agents, managed all client relationships, and learned every platform she needed to by using AI tools, documentation, and customer support calls — not by asking the owner. That's the standard. That's the job.

How we expect you to operate

  • "I don't know how to do that yet" is fine.*
  • "I figured it out" is the expectation.*
  • "Can you show me how?" should almost never happen.*

When you hit a wall: open an LLM, read the docs, call support. Then solve it.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Client Success \& Communication

  • Serve as the day\-to\-day point of contact for assigned client accounts via Slack (mainly)
  • Deliver end\-of\-month performance reports built by our ads team — review them, understand them, and walk clients through results on calls (when needed)
  • Handle inbound and proactive communication via phone, Slack, and email (we try to avoid phone calls whenever possible)
  • Proactively flag issues, wins, and opportunities to clients before they have to ask (very important)

GoHighLevel CRM \& Automation

  • Build and manage CRM pipelines, workflows, and automation sequences in GoHighLevel
  • Set up and maintain AI voice and text agents for client lead follow\-up
  • Manage opportunity pipelines, lead tracking, and customer lifecycle automation
  • Connect GHL to client websites via forms and embed integrations

Website Management

  • Build and update client websites on Duda
  • Manage DNS, domain connections, and hosting configuration
  • Troubleshoot form integrations, tracking issues, and technical website problems

SEO \& AI Search Visibility

  • Implement on\-page SEO strategies for local service business websites using LLM
  • Optimize service pages, metadata, and content for search visibility using LLM
  • Manage AI search visibility — understanding how clients appear in AI\-driven results (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) using SEMrush

Ads Oversight (Not Execution)

  • Our dedicated ads specialist runs Paid Ads campaigns — you support, not manage, the ads
  • Understand campaign structure, key metrics, and how to read performance data with the help from the digital ads specialist
  • Be the bridge between the ads team and the client — translate results into plain language with the help from the digital ads specialist

Business Operations \& Admin

  • Monitor Stripe for declined payments, missed renewals, and billing issues — and follow up proactively without being asked
  • Manage client subscriptions, service renewals, and account records
  • Own the administrative layer of the business so the founder never has to touch it
  • Keep everything organized across Notion, Basecamp, and internal systems
  • Have full access to business email, client accounts, and payment systems — and operate with the accountability that access requires

You'll be working across all of these. You don't have to know every one on day one — but you need to be comfortable learning them quickly.

Advertising Platforms

  • Google Ads (mainly), Bing Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Tag Manager (read and report — not manage)

Website Platforms

  • Duda

Domain \& Hosting

  • DNS management

Project \& Team Collaboration

  • Notion, Basecamp, Slack, LinkedIn

Billing \& Payments

  • Stripe

WHO WE'RE ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR

Credentials matter less than instincts. Here's what we care about:

  • You're resourceful by nature — when you don't know something, you find out
  • You use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) as a real part of how you work and learn
  • You take ownership — if something's broken, off, or about to slip, you fix it or flag it before anyone asks
  • You can talk to clients like a human being, handle pressure on a call, and know when to escalate
  • You're organized — you manage multiple clients, platforms, and moving parts without dropping balls
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity — this business is growing and evolving, and the role will too

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1–2\+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing ops, or a related role
  • Hands\-on experience with at least one of: GoHighLevel, Duda, Google Ads reporting, or marketing automation
  • Comfortable working in a small business environment where you wear multiple hats
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — you'll be client\-facing
  • Ability to work remotely, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET — reliable internet and a distraction\-free setup required

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with GoHighLevel automations, AI agents, or CRM workflow builds
  • Background in home services or local service business marketing
  • Familiarity with AI search visibility / GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
  • Experience setting up or managing DNS and domain configurations
  • Any self\-taught or AI\-assisted skill\-building you're proud of

WHAT YOU'RE WALKING INTO

We are a fully remote team of three. The founder focuses exclusively on lead generation and brand\-building — content, social, newsletters, podcasts, video. Our ads specialist runs all paid campaigns. You run everything else.

That means you'll have real access — business email, client accounts, Stripe, GoHighLevel master access, all of it. And real accountability to match. Nothing sits on the owner's plate that you could've handled. Nothing goes sideways with a client without you catching it first. Nothing stays broken.

This is a results\-based role.

You're paid hourly, but nobody is tracking your screen or sitting over your shoulder. The only thing being measured is outcomes: are clients staying, are their results improving, is the operational side of this business running clean? If the answer is yes, you'll have more autonomy than most people have ever had in a job. If things start slipping, we'll talk about it — but micromanagement isn't in the toolkit here because there isn't time for it.

There will be moments where you need backup. When that happens, the founder or our ads director will jump in and help. But it can't be a recurring thing. The expectation is that you're building your own competence as you go — using AI tools, documentation, and platform support to solve problems and not repeat them.
