About This Role
Director of Sales \& Marketing (Dual\-Brand: Hyatt \& Marriott)
The Role
As the Dual\-Brand DOSM, you are the commercial architect for a strategic hotel asset. You are responsible for navigating two distinct brand ecosystems—Marriott Bonvoy and World of Hyatt—to maximize total portfolio revenue. You will bridge the gap between brand\-led global sales and local property\-level execution, ensuring both "engines" are firing to beat the competitive set.
Strategic Commercial Leadership
- Dual\-Brand Strategy: Develop and execute an Annual Multi\-Year Commercial Strategy Plan that leverages the strengths of both Hyatt and Marriott
- Market Share Mastery: Drive ADR for both properties, aiming for \#1 or \#2 ranking in the STR report for each respective competitive set.
- Predictive Analytics: Move the sales culture from reactive to predictive and prescriptive, using data to identify "soft spots" in the 30\-60\-90 day window for both brands.
- Ownership Relations: Act as the primary commercial point of contact for ownership.
Brand Systems \& Operations
- System Synergy: Maintain expert\-level proficiency in both Hyatt’s Envision/Reserve and Marriott’s CI/TY/OneYield systems.
- Digital Marketing: Coordinate with Marriott Digital Services (MDS) and Hyatt’s Field Marketing teams to ensure both property websites are optimized for SEO and conversion.
- Channel Management: Optimize the mix between GDS, OTA, and Brand\-Direct channels (Bonvoy/WOH) to reduce customer acquisition costs.
Leadership \& People Development
- Unified Sales Culture: Lead a consolidated sale, catering, and marketing team, ensuring high engagement across all roles from Sales Coordinators to Senior Managers
Candidate Requirements
- Multi\-Brand Experience: Prior experience managing Hyatt and/or Marriott assets is essential.
- Communication: Ability to pivot communication styles between Hyatt’s "Culture of Care" and Marriott’s "Sales Engine" disciplines.
- Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in Excel, STR reporting, and property\-level P\&L management.
Pay: $50,000\.00 \- $55,000\.00 per year
