Let’s cut right to the chase.

I am the head partner of a successful, growing Plaintiff’s Personal Injury law firm. We are incredibly good at what we do—fighting for our clients and winning. Because of our success, I have a vault full of powerful marketing strategies, brilliant creative concepts, and ambitious growth plans. I have the vision, I have the strategy, and I have the budget. It is smart, sophisticated marketing. If most lawyer ads make you roll your eyes or worse …. that is not what is happening here.

What I need is a dedicated Operations Manager / Marketing Implementer whose sole professional obsession is taking a great idea, grabbing the ball, running it straight into the end zone, and keeping a ruthless eye on the scoreboard.

Let’s be crystal clear about what this job is NOT:

  • You will not be asked to write creative copy.
  • You will not be expected to invent our marketing strategy.
  • You will not be staring at a whiteboard trying to brainstorm the next big thing.

Instead, I need an orchestrator. I need someone who can take a blueprint I hand them, say, "Got it. Consider it done," and then actually go do it.

Here is what you WILL be doing

  • Deploying Campaigns: When I decide to launch a new direct mail campaign, a digital ad set, or a client newsletter, you ensure the lists are pulled, the assets are formatted, the postage is paid, and the campaign launches on time.
  • Building the Machine: You will take my ideas and put them into checklists, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and project management software.
  • Wrangling Vendors: You will be the point person for the various agencies and freelancers who do the actual marketing work for us. You will verify we are getting what we pay for and ensure they hit their deadlines. If not, you can make the decision to let them go and find someone new. You will have autonomy to bring in freelancers to help augment skills which you don’t have and to knock down work which frankly is below your pay grade.
  • Ruthless Analytics Tracking: You are our ultimate scorekeeper, tracking the results of every dollar we spend. When a campaign is working, you will add resources to pour gas on the fire. When a project is failing, you will ruthlessly kill it before it bleeds us dry.
  • Relentless Follow\-Up: You will be the person who figures out why a vendor missed a Tuesday deadline, and you will make sure it never happens again.

  • You make decisions based on cold, hard data, not feelings.
  • You are not intimidated by managing outside vendors and holding them strictly accountable to KPIs.
  • You don't need hand\-holding, and if you hit a roadblock, you figure out how to navigate it before asking me what to do.
