We are hiring a Head of Sales Operations to lead our California division. This is a critical leadership role with direct ownership of sales performance, operational execution, and team accountability — with a clear path to Director\-level responsibility.

Role Overview

This role reports directly to company leadership and is responsible for driving performance, structure, and accountability across the California sales organization.

You will operate both strategically and hands\-on — leading from the floor while owning reporting, planning, and execution.

This is a full\-time, on\-site role based in Irvine, CA.

What You’ll OwnSales Leadership \& Team Management

  • Lead and develop Sales Managers, QA, Trainers, and frontline sales teams
  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly production performance
  • Conduct side\-by\-sides, live coaching, and structured 1:1s
  • Address underperformance quickly with clear expectations and accountability plans
  • Partner with HR and Recruiting on hiring and retention of top talent

Performance \& KPI Ownership

  • Own all core KPIs: dials, talk time, conversion, revenue, cancellations
  • Monitor pipeline performance in CRM (Salesforce or similar)
  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities through data and QA feedback
  • Execute action plans tied to revenue and profitability targets

Process, Training \& Development

  • Oversee onboarding, ramp, and ongoing development programs
  • Align training with company standards across locations
  • Identify skill gaps and implement targeted coaching and scripting improvements
  • Ensure adherence to sales processes, including compliance protocols

Operational Infrastructure \& Accountability

  • Build and implement systems for performance tracking and accountability
  • Create scorecards, dashboards, SOPs, and leadership playbooks
  • Establish clear expectations and escalation paths
  • Translate executive goals into actionable plans for leadership

Reporting \& Strategic Execution

  • Analyze performance data and present insights to executive leadership
  • Drive forecasting, capacity planning, and goal setting
  • Continuously refine processes based on results and market conditions

Cross\-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Operations, Marketing, IT, and Compliance teams
  • Align lead flow, campaign performance, and system execution
  • Ensure seamless communication across departments

Multi\-State Collaboration

  • Work closely with Arizona leadership to maintain alignment
  • Participate in cross\-location planning and initiatives
  • Travel occasionally to Tempe, AZ as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 7\+ years of sales experience in a high\-volume call center
  • 5\+ years managing managers and teams of 20\+
  • 3\+ years in senior leadership (Director, Sr. Manager, Regional Manager) with full KPI ownership
  • Proven experience improving underperforming teams and scaling results
  • Strong data\-driven decision making and CRM experience

Strongly Preferred

  • Director\-level experience in debt restructuring, debt relief, or related industries

Important Note

This role requires current or very recent senior leadership experience in a call center environment, ideally within debt resolution or financial services. Candidates without this background will not be considered.
