PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The Marketing Operations Manager will work interdependently with executives, directors, and managers to implement and execute local and national marketing plans, projects, and campaigns that bring brand and service awareness to current and potential members of the organization. This role serves as a key execution partner to the SVP of Marketing, with the authority to manage and execute a high volume of marketing initiatives independently. The Marketing Operations Manager translates strategic direction into actionable plans and ensures initiatives move from concept to completion with minimal executive oversight.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position must effectively carry out the essential duties of this position in a manner that consistently demonstrates the core values of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union in a positive manner. Marketing Operations
- Works in conjunction with the VP of Marketing to propose, develop, and implement marketing plans designed to meet the short and long\-term strategic goals of the credit union.
- Independently manage and execute high\-priority initiatives delegated by the SVP \& VP of Marketing.
- Translate executive\-level strategy into tactical project plans with clear timelines, resource allocation, and measurable outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and enforce standardized campaign intake, prioritization, and launch processes.
- Manage department\-wide campaign calendar and capacity planning to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Rapidly reprioritize projects as organizational needs shift while maintaining clarity and accountability across the team.
Serve as the operational hub between Marketing, IT, Compliance, Branch Operations, and executive leadership. *
Marketing Technology
- Maintain governance of marketing automation platforms (HubSpot experience strongly preferred).
- Own and administer the department’s project management system (Asana), including workflow architecture, templates, and task governance.
- Ensure proper tagging, segmentation, and UTM tracking discipline across digital campaigns.
- Partner with Business Intelligence and IT to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity.
Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and reporting through technology. *
Campaign Execution Oversight
- Oversee operational execution of campaigns across digital, print, email, social, and branch channels.
- Monitor campaign timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure campaign assets move efficiently through review, compliance, and launch processes.
Oversee vendor coordination related to print, promotional materials, and digital execution. *
Reporting \& Performance Measurement
- Own campaign performance reporting and build standardized dashboards to track KPIs and ROI.
- Present clear, concise performance summaries to marketing leadership.
- Monitor marketing budget allocation and vendor spend pacing.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing complex projects, operational workflows, or cross\-functional initiatives in a fast\-paced environment.
- At least 3 years of experience using project management software is required, with strong preference for advanced proficiency in Asana.
- Experience with marketing, particularly HubSpot, is strongly preferred. Prior experience in marketing or financial services is preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate success managing multiple concurrent initiatives, building efficient systems, and analyzing performance data to inform decision\-making. *
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage partners directly and indirectly related to specific and overall projects in the efforts, growth needs, and work flow of the Marketing Department. Carry out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training partners; planning, assigning, and directly work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining partners; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to solve problems and handle complex details. He/she must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and must be a team player. He/she must be adept at quickly learning and understanding technology; and have a deep understanding of how technology can be applied to solve business challenges. The position requires the individual to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to present information effectively. Error\-free work is expected. The chosen candidate must pay close attention to detail and must be able to meet all production and distribution schedules and deadlines, and must be creative, self\-motivated, organized, dependable and professional, with a demonstrated record as a self\-starter. Individual must use diplomacy, tact, and professionalism in actions and appearance.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. This position will require the ability to develop reports that are easy to comprehend, as well as professional. The ability to communicate effectively with others by using appropriate communication tools/methods is required. Exceptional knowledge of the English language is particularly important. The ability to professionally write correspondence, create reports, and use software to produce presentations for both large and small groups is preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent; and to draw (using software) and interpret graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
A valid Driver’s License is needed.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to operate a personal computer and software. Ability to effectively utilize software including Excel, PowerPoint, PhotoShop, and customer relationship management systems. Keyboard proficiency and accuracy is necessary. This position must have an ability to effectively communicate through all mediums.
Must be able to operate all standard office machinery such as: digital camera; telephone; laser printers; scanners; fax machine; photocopier; typewriter; adding machine; and occasionally VCR, TV, overhead projector, or camcorder.
