About the role
As Business Development Representative II (BDR II), you will play a pivotal role in driving growth for the Perceptive Sales Team in your respective BU, through strategic lead generation and qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation \& Qualification
- Research and identify potential leads through outbound prospecting (phone calls, emails, social media) and inbound lead follow\-up.
- Qualify leads based on specific criteria and set up meetings with the sales team and company conference representatives /attendees (when supporting lead generation for conferences).
Cold Outreach
- Effectively cold call and email leads, nurturing relationships and converting prospects into sales opportunities.
CRM Management
- Accurately enter and maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the CRM system, ensuring data is up to date and properly categorized.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Account Executives and Product Marketing Managers to develop targeted outreach strategies and ensure smooth transitions for qualified leads.
Pipeline Development
- Generate and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads and contribute to the achievement of sales targets.
Market Research
- Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activity to better engage with prospects and tailor outreach.
Reporting
- Track and report key performance metrics, including calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, and conversions, to ensure continuous improvement and goal alignment.
Functional Competencies (Technical knowledge/Skills):
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self\-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus, but not required.
Experience, Education, and Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree or current matriculation with intent to complete in a life sciences, business, or related field is ideal.
This role is remote. Candidates located in the following states Candidates located in MA preferred. Will also consider candidates in the following states: CT, DE, MA, NH, NJ, PA.
The annual base salary range for this role is $63,698\-$118,296\. This range represents the anticipated initial annual salary and will vary depending on several factors including the candidate’s experience and skills as well as market rate adjustment.
