POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Sales Operations Program Manager leads and scales Sales Operations for the Sales Partner channel. This role manages the Sales Operations Specialist team and owns the systems, workflows, reporting, and cross\-functional coordination that enable Regional Sales Managers and Sales Partners to execute efficiently.

This position is the operational backbone of the partner sales channel—turning strategy into repeatable processes, ensuring CRM and reporting accuracy, and removing friction across the partner sales cycle. The role blends people leadership, program management, analytics, and strong execution.

The Sales Operations Program Manager reports to the Director – Sales Partners and works closely with Finance, Operations, Enablement, IT, and Product.### RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership* Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Operations Specialist team.

  • Set priorities, manage workload, and ensure timely completion of requests and deliverables.
  • Establish clear service levels (SLAs), performance expectations, and quality standards.
  • Build scalable onboarding, training, and documentation for the team.
  • Identify resourcing needs and support hiring as the function grows.

Process \& Systems Ownership* Design, standardize, and document end\-to\-end partner sales operations workflows.

  • Own governance for CRM (Salesforce) and related sales tools; ensure adoption and data hygiene.
  • Build and maintain intake processes, approval workflows, and standardized templates.
  • Reduce cycle times by eliminating bottlenecks and improving cross\-team handoffs.
  • Drive automation and system enhancements that reduce manual effort and improve speed and accuracy.

Reporting, Analytics \& Performance Visibility* Build dashboards and reporting for pipeline health, partner activity, conversion, and operational throughput.

  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics; identify trends, gaps, and root causes.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to Sales leadership to improve execution and outcomes.
  • Support forecasting and performance reviews with reliable, timely data.

Cross\-Functional Program Management* Partner with Enablement on partner onboarding, playbooks, and training readiness.

  • Coordinate with Finance on commissions, performance reporting, and tracking rules.
  • Collaborate with Operations, IT, and Product to implement process changes and tool improvements.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for operational issues and escalations across regions and partners.

Continuous Improvement* Establish and track operational KPIs such as turnaround time, data quality, SLA attainment, and tool adoption.

  • Run retrospectives and implement improvements based on feedback and performance data.
  • Drive change management for new processes, tools, and policies across regions and partners.
  • Ensure processes remain scalable as the partner network expands.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Analytics, or related field.
  • 5\+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Partner/Channel Operations, Revenue Operations, or Program Management.
  • 2\+ years of people leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce, including workflows, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets skills with strong comfort in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to build repeatable processes in fast\-paced or scaling environments.
  • Strong program/project management skills with consistent follow\-through.
  • Clear communicator who can translate complex inputs into simple, actionable direction.
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization, stakeholder management, and execution discipline.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting a partner/channel sales model (dealer, reseller, distributor, or alliances).
  • Experience in renewable energy, solar, consumer finance, fintech, or high\-growth B2B/B2B2C environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of sales compensation/commission processes and performance tracking.
  • Experience building or administering Salesforce automation (flows, validation rules, process improvements) and partnering with admins/RevOps.
  • Experience with sales enablement and onboarding tools (e.g., Gong, Highspot, Seismic, Lessonly, or similar).
  • Experience with analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
  • Familiarity with quoting/contract tools and workflows (e.g., CPQ, proposal generation, approval routing).
  • Demonstrated success scaling operational programs across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.
  • PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, or other process improvement certification (a plus).

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
