About This Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Identifies markets and products to drive long term growth in the business.

· Develops and executes on strategies for organic and acquisition growth.

· Develops sales strategy to support revenue growth: distribution channels, direct sales, potential

partnerships, etc.

· Develops strategic marketing plans to achieve business objectives for products and services.

· Develops and implements strategic sales plans and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales

territories and goals.

· Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.

· Plans and conducts market research to identify opportunities for increased sales.

· Reviews analysis of marketing surveys on current and new product concepts to recommend future product

development.

· Develops pricing strategies designed to take advantage of market opportunities.

· Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed customer base

expansion.

· Provides post\-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs.

· Develops relevant leading indicators.

· Works with Marketing Communications to ensure strong and consistent messaging through branding,

collateral advertising, and Internet web page development.

· Analyzes marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.

· Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

· Meets with key customers, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and

closing deals.

· Develops and maintains relationships with key rep owners to enable effective partnerships with corporate

management.

· Helps establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials,

and events.

· Establishes strategic business relationships with key customers.

· Manages after sales support, including Field Service, Technical Support and Parts Sales.

· Attend 2\-5 trade shows per year.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises up to 5 direct employees and up to15\-20 indirect internal employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four\-year college or university required, with a master’s or MBA preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Eight or more years of experience in a Sales Director role demonstrating progressive experience and a proven record of success. An engineering background or strong technical aptitude is preferred as well as and experience managing external sales associates and rep firms. Experience in high end custom capital equipment and global sales is desired.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to speak Spanish is desirable. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills: CRM systems; Order processing systems; MS Office software.

Other Qualifications: Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time both domestically and internationally to meet with customers.

Pay: $76,650\.30 \- $92,310\.04 per year
