Why does the job exist?
The Business Operations Analyst will
Support the Restitution Bureau in posting payments received from clients;
Utilize the Automated System Program Eligibility Network (ASPEN) to post payments to the clients account, manage and maintain logs of payments, memos, refunds and restorations;
Work on daily and monthly reports and reconciliations;
Prepare monthly Revenue, New Claims and Refund Journal Entries (JE);
Perform as back up for administrative position by picking up mail, opening, distributing and scanning into ASPEN;
Support the bureau as needed with any special projects or other tasks.
How does it get done?
The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for: Preparing financial journal entries efficiently, accurately and follow through ensuring final approvals;
Managing and maintaining logs for payments received and posting to clients' accounts;
Processing memos and refunds in an efficient and timely matter;
Assisting in cross training administrative position in understanding and preparing refunds and monthly JE's.

Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years of experience in office administration, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting, auditing, cash management, contract management, and/or the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.
