Summary

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large\-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in\-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Java Full Stack Developer to join our team. As Wells Fargo accelerates adoption of AI\-assisted engineering tools, this role will be instrumental in driving the rollout, enablement, and training of these tools across a large engineering organization. This is a unique opportunity to influence engineering culture, help modernize development practices, and build portfolio‑defining experience in GenAI\-driven software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands\-on full stack Java engineer, delivering high\-quality code and architectural input.
• Lead and support proof\-of\-concepts (POCs) related to AI\-assisted development tools.
• Enable and mentor developers on modern GenAI tools and best practices.
• Create documentation, training materials, and video content that support large\-scale adoption.
• Present in internal forums and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new tools into daily development workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Hands\-on experience with GenAI development tools such as GitHub Copilot/Coding Agents, Claude, Gemini Code Assist, Devin, and Cursor.
• Strong software development and architecture background.
• Deep expertise with Java and Spring technologies.
• Advanced front\-end development skills using Angular or React/TypeScript.
• Proven full stack development capability across Java and UI technologies.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred).
• Experience with AI Agent and MCP Server development (preferred).
