QBR Structure

A strong RevOps QBR takes 30 minutes and answers three questions: What happened last quarter? What's working and what isn't? What are we doing next quarter?

  1. Executive summary (5 min) — Quarter results vs. targets. Revenue, pipeline, conversion, and forecast accuracy in four numbers. Good or bad, lead with the data.
  2. Pipeline health review (10 min) — Coverage entering next quarter, stage distribution, aging analysis, and deal velocity trends. Flag any systemic issues (deals stalling at a specific stage, coverage gaps in specific segments).
  3. Process and systems review (10 min) — What you shipped last quarter (automation, integrations, reporting improvements). Quantify the impact. What broke and how you fixed it.
  4. Next quarter priorities (5 min) — Top 3-5 initiatives with expected impact and resource requirements. Tie each initiative to a revenue outcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long should a RevOps QBR be?

30 minutes maximum. If you need more time, the deck is too detailed. The QBR should be a decision-making session, not a data review. Send the detailed data ahead of time and use the meeting for discussion.

Who should attend the RevOps QBR?

CRO/VP Sales, CMO/VP Marketing, VP Customer Success, and CFO (or their delegates). RevOps reports to the revenue leadership team. Everyone with a number should be in the room.

What's the most important metric for a RevOps QBR?

Forecast accuracy. It's the one metric that reflects whether your data, processes, and tools are working together. If the team consistently commits deals that don't close, everything else is unreliable.
