About This Role

Job Description

The Revenue Operations Specialist is a trusted resource to the Sales and Service departments and utilizes Salesforce and other resources to provide information and assistance that maximizes our sales opportunities and leads to a more effective and efficient sales process. He or she must be or become an expert in Salesforce and proficient in configuring, automating and optimizing Salesforce so that our sales and service teams effectively utilize the solution to perform their job and maximize their productivity. This involves managing and customizing Salesforce to help users get the most out of the platform.

Essential Function and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings.
  • Customize Salesforce by creating fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, custom reports and dashboards to effectively track business progress.
  • Support users by troubleshooting issues, providing training, promoting best practices, documenting processes and providing ongoing support.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to design and implement system enhancements
  • Keep company data clean, accurate, and secure.
  • Collaborate with cross\-functional teams in Sales, marketing, service, finance, production and engineering to ensure we are producing a solution that meets the requirements of our customer.
  • Create and send order confirmations, ensuring clear and accurate communication with customers.
  • Organize and manage regular alignment meetings with Sales Managers and others to review opportunities, ensuring accurate and up\-to\-date data in Salesforce.
  • Monitor and follow up on the open projects pipeline, supporting Sales Managers in prioritizing high\-value opportunities and proactively sharing updates on “Hot 95” projects with the Production department.
  • Register and manage leads and contacts generated from exhibitions in Salesforce, supporting Sales Managers during the follow\-up phase.
  • Develop and deliver analytics and reports to track performance against business targets, including order intake, revenue, margins, and incoming cash flow.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve Salesforce dashboards and reports to support performance monitoring and enable data\-driven decision\-making.
  • Support the collection and consolidation of the Sales budget each fiscal year.
  • Ensure monthly alignment with Sales teams on business performance, tracking progress against targets and key objectives.
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization to save time and reduce errors.
  • Stay up to date on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience working in a sales support role of an equipment supplier.
  • 2\+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred.
  • Experience with data management and reporting tools within Salesforce or similar solution.
  • Excellent problem\-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill.

Working Conditions

  • Office\-based position with extensive computer and telephone use.
  • Regular use of Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications, reporting tools, and other business systems.
  • Frequent interaction with Sales, Service, Marketing, Finance, Production, Engineering, and customers through meetings, email, and phone communications.
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting, working at a computer, and analyzing data.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast\-paced business environment.
  • Occasional flexibility in work hours may be required to support business needs.
  • May require occasional travel to company facilities, trade shows, customer sites, training events, or sales meetings.
  • Requires the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive customer, sales, pricing, and business information.
  • Work is performed in a collaborative team environment with a strong emphasis on communication, problem\-solving, and cross\-functional coordination.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain seated and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, video conference, and email.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to view and analyze detailed information on computer screens for extended periods.
