About This Role
Bentley Mills, Inc. is searching for a Sales Operations Analyst. The Sales Operations Analyst partners with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and executive leadership to optimize sales performance through data\-driven insights, process improvement, and operational support. This role is responsible for sales reporting, forecasting support, CRM optimization, pricing and margin analysis, and continuous improvement of sales processes in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, detail\-oriented, and comfortable working cross\-functionally in a fast\-paced, metrics\-driven organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Sales Analytics \& Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring sales reports and dashboards (bookings, revenue, pipeline, forecasts, backlog, margin, product mix and customer trends).
- Analyze sales performance by customer, product line, region, and channel to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support executive\-level reporting and monthly business reviews.
- Forecasting \& Planning Support
- Partner with Sales and Finance to support monthly and quarterly sales forecasting.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and recommend improvements to forecasting methodologies.
- Assist in annual sales planning and quota modeling.
- CRM \& Sales Tools Management
- Serve as a subject matter expert for CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar) and business intelligence reporting tools (e.g. Power BI or similar).
- Ensure data integrity, adoption, and consistent use of sales tools.
- Support system enhancements, reporting automation, and user training as needed.
- Pricing, Margin \& Deal Support
- Assist in pricing analysis, discount, returns \& allowance monitoring, and margin reporting.
- Support deal reviews by providing profitability and historical customer insights.
- Partner with Finance to ensure pricing compliance and alignment with company targets.
- Process Improvement \& Enablement
- Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes and improve workflow efficiency.
- Document and maintain sales processes, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Support sales enablement initiatives related to tools, reporting, and data visibility.
- Cross\-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to align sales execution with operational capabilities.
- Support analysis related to capacity constraints, lead times, and order fulfillment impacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analytics, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling).
- Experience with CRM systems and business intelligence software tools (Salesforce and Power BI preferred).
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Working Conditions
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer of Bentley Mills.
