Your Role
The Digital and Measurement team is seeking a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Front‑End Email Developer to design, build, and scale high‑performance, accessible, and responsive email experiences across complex, data‑driven marketing programs. This role sits at the intersection of design systems, advanced AMPscript, automation, and performance optimization, and plays a critical role in evolving our email platform toward greater efficiency, flexibility, and personalization.
This is a senior‑level role for a developer who brings strong design sensibility, deep SFMC technical expertise, and forward‑looking fluency in AI‑assisted workflows and automation to modernize how emails are built, tested, and scaled.

Your Experience
In this role, you will
- Ensure emails are accurate, brand‑aligned, accessible, and render consistently across major email clients
- Partner with design and copy teams to ensure feasibility, responsiveness, and accessibility from concept to build
- Develop advanced AMPscript for personalization, dynamic content, and multi‑version rendering
- Create scalable coding patterns that reduce duplication and improve maintainability across campaigns
- Meet WCAG AA accessibility standards and optimize emails for performance and load speed
- Test and troubleshoot rendering issues using tools like Litmus or Email on Acid
- Use AI tools to accelerate coding, optimization, and QA workflows
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve development processes
- Contribute to coding standards, best practices, and responsible AI‑enabled workflows
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations to validate data, logic, tracking, and deployment readiness
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience including hands‑on front‑end email development experience
- Requires deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Content Builder \& Email Studio)
- Requires advanced proficiency in HTML and CSS for email, including table‑based layouts and client‑specific constraints
- Requires expert‑level AMPscript skills, including complex conditional logic and scalable personalization patterns
- Requires proven experience building responsive, accessible, and performant emails at scale
- Strong understanding of email client behaviors, limitations, and testing methodologies
- Experience working from design systems and component‑based frameworks
- Comfort operating in fast‑paced, high‑volume marketing environments
- Experience with Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and SQL within SFMC preferred
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools and workflow automation preferred
- Background in healthcare, regulated industries, or high‑compliance environments preferred
- Experience contributing to internal documentation, standards, or enablement materials preferred
Proficiency with Figma and modern design‑to‑dev collaboration workflows preferred *

This role requires employees to be in\-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in\-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.
Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in\-office time based on business need.
