BGS Commercial Modifications Engineering is seeking proactive and results\-driven Engineering Business Operations Specialist (Experienced) in Long Beach, California to support our Commercial Engineering and leadership teams.

The Commercial Engineering and leadership team fosters a collaborative culture that values initiative, clarity, and measurable outcomes. In this role you will streamline daily operations, create polished executive presentations, and drive high‑impact business initiatives that support engineering excellence across modification programs.

Position Responsibilities

Track, analyze, and report operational metrics and KPIs to inform leadership decisions and drive continuous improvemen* t

Develop and deliver concise, data‑driven presentations, decision packages, and reports for leadership forum* s

Perform data analysis and prepare management briefings summarizing findings and recommended action* s

Provide cross‑functional business operational support to ensure timely, effective execution of initiative* s

Integrate program engineering management activities with business operations to align priorities and improve outcome* s

Work on‑site 5 days per week and perform duties under general direction; may support other programs or tasks as assigne* d

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree in business or a related fiel* d

5\+ years of experience in the use of Microsoft Excel to gather, format, and manipulate data using mathematical, accounting and organizational functions/formulas/macros within the tool for the purpose of performing both business related and technical analyse* s

5\+ years of experience with dashboards, reports, and KPI* s

5\+ years of experience in preparing and delivering a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation to leadership or a customer grou* p

5\+ years of experience maintaining and/or developing Operational / Productivity metric* s

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Experience supporting engineering or technical organizations in operations, program support, or business‑analysis role* s

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to create executive‑level presentations and synthesize complex information for diverse audience* s

Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects, influence without authority, and drive results in a fast‑paced environmen* t

Analytical mindset with experience translating performance metrics into actionable recommendation* s

Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities and ambiguous situation* s

Summary Pay Range: $90,950 \- $123,050
