VP Of Marketing Operations \- Laughlin
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This position will provide leadership and direction for all casino marketing initiatives for Harrah’s \& Tropicana Laughlin, to include; casino marketing efforts and increase business volumes. You will be responsible for implementation of strategic tactical marketing programs for competitive positioning in the marketplace. This position provides oversight to ensure all marketing efforts are in accordance with overall business objectives, ensure campaigns and programs are competitive with the market and ensure programs are designed within budget guidelines and the strategic plans. In addition, this position will also oversee all entertainment at the properties, and help to drive entertainment strategy and oversight.

- Develops marketing strategies for Harrah’s \& Tropicana Laughlin with the SVP/General Manager.
- Establishes casino campaigns for special events/promotions that support each individual brand of the tri\-properties.
- Drives loyalty programs to maximize customer retention and loyalty. Ensures that all assets and promotional programs are effectively leveraged for customer satisfaction and retention across all properties.
- Ensures the integrity and effective measurement of all casino marketing programs. Executes processes that ensure quality control, cost measures, and other techniques for maximizing the effective delivery of customer service and profitability.
- Applies economic and accounting principles in the analysis and reporting of financial data as it relates to marketing programs.
- Acts as a liaison between multiple departments to ensure marketing and casino marketing projects and strategies are executed.
- Maintains an awareness of competition strategies and stay ahead of them.
- Works closely with direct reports on all strategic initiatives.
- Maintain active participation in local organizations, associations and participates as a board/committee member to stay on top of trends in the community.
- Ensures the Sales and Marketing Departments are building strong relationships and loyalty with top clients as well as maintaining professional integrity.
- Ensure the Casino Marketing Department is taking initiatives to meet their budgeted revenues.
- Oversee potential business opportunities for hotel and conference services.
- Develop and maintain annual budget.
- Ensures all efforts are made to retain revenue, improve guest service, and maintain the integrity of our product via the guest experience.
- Monitor practice performance, review and approve monthly financials.
- Develop and oversee execution of property specific programs, stay abreast of any changes in the regulatory environment and make changes/updates to existing program/policies/procedures as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Possess skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and employees.
- Knowledge of marketing, database, casino games, slots, and overall casino promotions.
- A deep understanding of the gaming customer lifecycle including which customers are worth developing, growing, and maintaining.
- Understanding of company and NV rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
- Excellent analytics, organizational, and communication skills are required.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Read, write, and communicate verbally in English. Skill in preparing and maintaining records, running reports, and responding to correspondence.
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and applies guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and AS400\. CMS applications, Credit, Marketing, Player Tracking, Marketing reports, Player Club reports.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS* Requires a four\-year college degree and minimum of 10 years of experience with demonstrated success in managing profit and loss statements, multiple departments and operational functions preferably with the gaming or hospitality industry. (Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Must be able to obtain all required certification requirements.
