About This Role

Chesapeake Fine Food Group is seeking a detail-oriented Ecommerce & Marketing Operations Coordinator to own day-to-day site merchandising, campaign execution, and quality assurance across our three brands. This hands-on execution role ensures that website catalogs, promotions, site search, and email/SMS campaigns are accurate, optimized, and deployed on schedule to drive customer engagement and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Site Merchandising & Product Management

  • Execute merchandising strategies, including curated collections, product bundles, and product visibility rules aligned with seasonal campaigns and sales trends.
  • Manage day-to-day site search and navigation using merchandising tools (such as Klevu) to improve product discoverability and pull search performance reports.
  • Maintain catalog accuracy, including product attributes, inventory statuses, SEO metadata, and category taxonomies in coordination with Purchasing and Inventory teams.

Campaign & Email Production

  • Review, schedule, and deploy promotional, lifecycle, and newsletter emails and SMS campaigns, ensuring correct segmentation, link integrity, and send times.

Website Quality Assurance & User Experience

  • Conduct daily and weekly website audits across desktop, tablet, and mobile to identify bugs, broken links, or display issues, logging and tracking them through resolution with development partners.
  • Perform pre-deployment quality assurance testing for new features, page templates, promotional builds, and CRO/A/B testing variants.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to participate in user testing and apply feedback to improve navigation, functionality, and the overall customer journey.

Customer Feedback & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Oversee the customer review program, moderating feedback and routing product quality concerns or negative experiences to Customer Care and Product Development teams.
  • Maintain project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com) to track ongoing initiatives, document standard operating procedures, and pull recurring performance reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in ecommerce operations, digital marketing, or site merchandising, or equivalent hands-on experience.

  • Hands-on experience with Shopify (or a similar platform), including product setup, collections, pricing, and discount codes.
  • Hands-on experience with an email/SMS platform, including building, scheduling, and testing campaigns.
  • Experience with website QA or bug tracking, and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in Excel or Google Sheets (sorting and filtering, pivot tables, lookups) and pulling basic performance reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in food or CPG industry a plus.
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • Experience with Listrak, Klaviyo, or a similar email/SMS platform.
