Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Part\-Time Revenue Operations Associate to join our team on a part\-time basis. This hybrid role is based in Gaithersburg, MD, with flexibility for occasional remote work. Responsibilities include managing the operational aspects of revenue generation, analyzing data to optimize processes, collaborating with departments to enhance efficiency, ensuring accurate customer invoicing and record\-keeping, and addressing operational inquiries. The Revenue Operations Associate will play a critical role in supporting key revenue\-related functions as Comfort Cases expands its reach nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Recording \& Maintenance

●Record all incoming revenue (grants, donations, program fees, etc.) with high precision.

●Maintain and update Deferred Revenue schedules to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP.

●Manage the physical handling of cash and check deposits.

●Calculate monthly commissions.

Systems Integration \& Data Integrity

●Perform high\-volume data entry into NEON CRM and work with the business development and marketing team to make sure all orders are properly entered into NEON.

●Reconcile NEON CRM data with QuickBooks Online (QBO) to ensure both systems mirror each other perfectly.

●Manage dashboards in NEON CRM.

●Maintain the integrity of donor information in NEON CRM, including but not limited to updating donor profiles, payment details, and donations, and responding to donor requests and cancellations.

●Identify and resolve discrepancies between the development/sales records and the accounting records.

Office \& Administrative Management

●Maintain the physical and digital accounting files to ensure audit readiness.

●Manage general accounting office tasks, including mail processing and document retention.

●Assist the CFO with month\-end closing tasks related to accounts receivable and revenue reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, specifically within revenue recognition or accounts receivable.
• Strong Operations skills, including the ability to manage processes and optimize systems efficiently
• Excellent Analytical Skills to review data and derive insights for operational improvements
• Exceptional Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders
• Proven Interpersonal Skills to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse groups
• Experience in Customer Service to address inquiries and maintain accurate customer records
• Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., NEON CRM, Excel)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience in nonprofit or mission\-driven organizations is a plus

Pay: $35\.00 \- $40\.00 per hour
