Sales Operations Specialist

Sales Operations Specialist East Coast Filters - Commack, NY - Full-time, on-site $60,000 to $70,000 a year plus performance bonus

Work directly with the owner of a growing, owner-operated company. You’ll run the order and quoting side of the business, support our customer accounts, and use spreadsheets and AI tools to modernize how the work gets done. This is the first hire in a growing front-office team, with real responsibility from day one and room to take on more responsibility as we grow.

What you’ll do

• Process orders and quotes accurately and keep them moving from entry through delivery, working closely with the warehouse and delivery personnel
• Support customer accounts by phone and email: answer questions, solve problems, and follow up
• Build and maintain reporting on orders, accounts, and pricing
• Use spreadsheets, our ERP system, and AI tools to speed up and improve order processing
• Spot what’s slow or broken and fix it
• Pitch in wherever a small team needs it

Who we’re looking for

• 2+ years of work experience in a role involving customers or operations
• Strong with numbers and comfortable in Excel
• Quick with new software and familiar with AI tools
• Clear, friendly, and reliable with customers
• Detail-oriented and happy to do hands-on work

About us East Coast Filters is an owner-operated wholesale distributor of air filters and V-belts, serving HVAC contractors, facility managers, and institutions across Long Island and the NYC metro area.
