About This Role

Heartland Fire Protection (HFP), headquartered in Norfolk, NE is seeking a Business Operations Director. This position provides critical support to the Chief Operating Officer by implementing, managing and performing time\-based assignments, assisting in coordinating daily operations of the company including scheduling and further developing daily efficiencies as well as handling administrative duties. The position communicates amongst the leadership team and internal departments demonstrating leadership, earning trust and showing support across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary liaison with Heartland’s customers.
  • Supervises office staff.
  • Manages Technician scheduling and client service coordinating.
  • Manages Administrative Office
  • Project Management\-\-completes projects and a variety of special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress; problem\-solving, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Completes other duties as assigned by the COO.
  • In\-person attendance is required.

Qualifications

Skills – Must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, and problem\-solving skills. Must be able to manage multiple priorities with flexibility, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer service. Must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

  • Must be a proactive manager who embraces responsibility and can work with minimum supervision.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

· Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.

Experience

  • Five years office experience. Two years management experience.
