iOR Holdings is growing fast — and so is our presence in the industry. We're looking for an Event \& Marketing Operations Manager to be the engine behind that presence.

This is a high\-ownership role for someone who loves building order out of complexity. You'll take full command of our event portfolio — 35 to 50 industry conferences and meetings a year — and own the operational systems that make our marketing function run. Your work will be visible, your impact will be measurable, and the Director of Marketing will rely on you to execute at a level that lets them stay focused on strategy and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Event Planning \& Execution (Primary Focus)
  • Own end\-to\-end execution of all industry events, conferences, and meetings – from pre planning to detailed execution to post\-event follow up.
  • Build and manage repeatable processes, timelines, and checklists for all events
  • Manage event timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination across teams
  • Coordinate vendors, venues, sponsorships, booth logistics, and materials
  • Handle travel planning, shipping, and on\-site logistics as needed
  • Support identification and coordination of speaking opportunities
  • Organize client dinners and related company\-hosted engagements
  • Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on event goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure consistent, high\-quality execution across all events
  • Marketing Operations Support
  • Support execution of marketing campaigns (email, CRM, outreach coordination)
  • Assist with list management, segmentation, and campaign setup
  • Coordinate production and distribution of marketing materials
  • Partner with sales and leadership on marketing needs tied to events and campaigns
  • This is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be asked to perform different tasks if your role within or the objectives of the organization changes.

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

  • Full ownership of event logistics with minimal oversight
  • Clear event calendar and planning system in place
  • Reduction in last\-minute issues and reactive work
  • Improved consistency and quality across events
  • Director of Marketing meaningfully freed up from execution work

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5\+ years in event management, marketing operations, or similar role
  • Experience managing conferences, trade shows, or multi\-event portfolios
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and follow\-through
  • Comfortable owning logistics, coordination, and execution end\-to\-end
  • Strong communication skills across internal and external stakeholders
  • Authorization to work for an employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the optometry industry or similar healthcare specialty
  • Familiarity with CRM and project management tools

Pay: $75,000\.00 \- $85,000\.00 per year
