Role Summary

The Director, Regional Sales Operations (BDSO) – TSMC Global Account is an execution\-focused leadership role responsible for ensuring delivery to quarterly shipment commitments, maintaining demand and slotting discipline, and driving flawless execution of tool deliveries for the TSMC account.

This role serves as the central point of coordination between Sales, Global Operations (GOps), Demand Management, and Product Groups to ensure that tools are accurately planned, properly configured, and delivered on time with zero defects. The Director manages a team of sales operation professionals who collectively are accountable for forecasting \& prioritizing customer deliveries, managing slot allocations, and ensuring adherence to strict operational standards required to support TSMC’s ramp and production needs.

Key Responsibilities

Shipment Commit Delivery \& Execution

  • Maintain accuracy and stability of tool demand signals supporting TSMC shipments.
  • Own delivery performance against quarterly shipment commitments (QCR/QFR) for the TSMC account.
  • Drive daily execution to ensure shipment targets are met within committed timelines and tolerances.
  • Identify risks to shipment commitments early and drive cross\-functional mitigation actions.

Success Measures

Success in this role is measured through

  • Delivery to quarterly shipment commitments (QCR/QFR)
  • On\-time tool delivery performance for TSMC
  • Zero configuration errors and reduction of late changes
  • Stability of demand and slotting execution (SRD, config stability)
  • Effectiveness in prioritizing and delivering critical customer tools
  • Speed and effectiveness of execution issue resolution
  • Org. Development as defined

What you’ll do

Tool Slotting \& Demand Execution

  • Lead coordination with GOps and Demand Management to ensure proper slot allocation aligned to TSMC priorities.
  • Ensure disciplined management of tool slotting, including alignment of demand, capacity, and delivery sequencing.
  • Drive prioritization decisions across competing demands to meet customer delivery expectations.

Configuration Discipline \& Quality

  • Ensure zero configuration errors and eliminate late changes that impact tool builds and delivery schedules.
  • Enforce strict adherence to configuration stability standards across all tools scheduled for shipment.
  • Partner with Product Groups, Sales, and Operations to resolve configuration issues before they impact execution.

Customer Delivery Prioritization

  • Own prioritization of deliveries based on TSMC customer requirements, ramp schedules, and escalation needs.
  • Act as the central coordination point to ensure critical tools are expedited and delivered on time.
  • Support resolution of delivery\-related escalations impacting customer operations.

Cross\-Functional Execution with GOps

  • Work closely with Global Operations (GOps) to ensure alignment between demand signals, build plans, and shipment execution.
  • Drive operational alignment across Account Teams, GOPs Order Fulfillment, and Logistics to ensure on\-time delivery.
  • Manage day\-to\-day execution issues, including supply gaps, build delays, and scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure changes to demand or schedules are controlled and do not disrupt committed shipments.

Operational Rhythm \& Performance Tracking

  • Lead execution\-focused operating cadence, including shipment tracking, demand reviews, and issue escalation forums
  • Monitor and improve key execution metrics such as SRD stability, configuration stability, and delivery adherence.
  • Track performance against key operational metrics and drive accountability across stakeholders.
  • Provide clear visibility into risks, priorities, and execution status to leadership.

Execution Issue Resolution

  • Identify and resolve execution bottlenecks impacting tool delivery timelines.
  • Drive rapid cross\-functional decision\-making to unblock delivery constraints.
  • Ensure issues are resolved with minimal disruption to customer commitments.

Global Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage a distributed Sales Operations team (8\-12 employees) across the U.S. and Malaysia.
  • Provide clear direction, prioritization, and performance expectations aligned to BDSO priorities
  • Ensure seamless coordination across geographies to support a 24\-hour execution environment.

Capability Building \& Org Scaling

  • Build a scalable Sales Operations capability to support increasing complexity of TSMC demand and ramp requirements.
  • Standardize best practices, tools, and processes across the team
  • Develop team members to operate effectively in a high\-pressure, high\-precision execution environment.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence.

Who we’re looking for

  • Strong experience in Sales Operations, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations in a semi\-cap equipment environment
  • Proven track record of delivering to commitments in a complex, high\-mix, low\-volume environment
  • Deep understanding of execution metrics such as:
  • Shipment delivery performance
  • Spoken Fluency in Mardarin
  • SRD stability
  • Configuration control
  • Capacity and slotting management
  • Experience driving cross\-functional execution across operations and supply chain teams

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting major semiconductor customers (e.g., TSMC or similar Tier 1 accounts)
  • Familiarity with tool delivery / manufacturing environments
  • Strong problem\-solving capability in fast\-paced execution environments

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $155,000\.00 \- $324,000\.00\.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
