About This Role

Purpose of the Job: This role serves as a strategic partner to the Vice President of Sales, leading sales operations and enablement initiatives that drive performance, efficiency, and growth. Responsible for optimizing processes, aligning crossfunctional efforts, and delivering tools, insights, and programs that enable the sales organization to achieve key business objectives.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Act as a trusted advisor and right\-hand partner to the Vice President of Sales, helping shape and execute strategic initiatives that support revenue growth and organizational priorities
  • Design, develop, and implement sales strategies, tools, content, and training that improve sales effectiveness and drive consistent execution across channels
  • Partner with Brokers and Internal Sales team, to provide clear visibility into performance and actionable insights to drive results, showcased through business reviews and market visits
  • Support being the voice of Sales working with Partnership team and vendor partners
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, customer planning, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment in forecasting, messaging, customer programs, and go\-to\-market execution
  • Lead initiatives to develop and implement customer rewards and promotional programs that increase engagement and drive sales volume across channels
  • Serve as the business lead for enterprise and cross\-functional projects, ensuring alignment, accountability, and successful execution of key initiatives
  • Identify operational challenges, resolve complex issues, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support the design and administration of sales incentive and commission programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and motivating desired behaviors

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

Experience

  • 7\+ years of experience in sales, sales operations, or sales enablement
  • Experience in Convenience and/or Travel channels of business preferred
  • Experience working cross\-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams
  • Proven experience leading projects and influencing without direct authority
  • Experience in distribution, retail, or CPG industries preferred

Physical and Working Environment

  • Usual office working conditions: Noise level in the work area is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
  • Office hours are generally from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Travel frequency approximately 20\-40% of the time, depending on needs and specific priorities.
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc. and may infrequently require moving materials up to 40 pounds. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to focus.
