About This Role

Role Summary

The Revenue Operations \& GTM Systems Specialist owns the day\-to\-day execution, reliability, and optimization of Metopio’s go\-to\-market systems, with HubSpot as the core system of record. This role ensures that Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success operate on clean data, reliable workflows, accurate reporting, and well\-functioning automations, including leveraging AI\-powered GTM motions.

This is a high\-ownership specialist role with a clear path to Revenue Operations Manager. The ideal candidate is a strong HubSpot practitioner who thrives on operating and improving systems — someone who can execute day\-to\-day CRM operations while independently identifying and solving operational friction across the GTM function. As Metopio scales, this role will evolve from hands\-on execution into full strategic ownership of the revenue systems roadmap.

Core Responsibilities

HubSpot Administration \& GTM Systems Ownership

  • Own day\-to\-day administration of HubSpot across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Configure and maintain properties, lifecycle stages, pipelines, lead/account/deal routing logic, workflow automations, and integrations.
  • Design and enforce data governance standards and CRM architecture
  • Audit, clean, and maintain data quality
  • Monitor system health and proactively resolve issues related to workflows, routing, permissions, and data syncs.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and integrations as the revenue function scales

Revenue Process Design \& Workflow Optimization

  • Optimize GTM workflows including lead flow, lifecycle progression, pipeline stage movement, email nurtures, renewal tracking, and retention workflows.
  • Configure pipeline structures for complex, multi\-stakeholder sales cycles — including state\-level government procurement processes, compliance milestones, and multi\-agency stakeholder mapping.
  • Translate documented business requirements into HubSpot configurations and automations; proactively recommend improvements based on operational patterns.
  • Build and maintain no\-code automation workflows, improve speed\-to\-lead, and enforce process consistency.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between AI\-powered tools and HubSpot — maintaining data structures that AI agents can reliably populate and query.
  • Support and maintain the outbound/inbound tool stack, including SDR sequencing platforms, data enrichment tools (e.g., Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay), website intent and visitor identification tools, and personalization platforms.

Competitive Intelligence \& RFP Systems Support

  • Build and maintain the CRM infrastructure that captures competitive intelligence
  • Ensure proposal\-related data is accurate, accessible, and properly associated in HubSpot.

Reporting \& Dashboards

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide funnel visibility, pipeline health, forecast inputs, competitive win rates, and deal progression by segment.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across teams; proactively identify data gaps, attribution issues, and reporting inconsistencies.

Cross\-Functional Support \& Documentation

  • Serve as the primary day\-to\-day contact for HubSpot and revenue systems questions across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance.
  • Support enforcement of data standards and drive GTM efficiency improvements across teams.

Qualifications \& Experience

Required

  • 3–6 years of hands\-on experience in Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, or HubSpot\-focused roles.
  • Strong, demonstrated experience administering HubSpot Professional or Enterprise across multiple Hubs
  • Proven ability to build complex workflows, multi\-stage automations, and pipeline configurations for non\-standard sales cycles.
  • Track record of maintaining clean CRM data at scale, including deduplication, governance frameworks, and data quality monitoring.
  • Experience building dashboards, reports, and attribution models that support revenue decisions.
  • Comfort working across multiple GTM tools and no\-code automation platforms
  • Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and basic data modeling concepts sufficient to troubleshoot integrations and support AI\-to\-CRM data handoffs.
  • Ability to operate independently with clear priorities and proactively identify improvements without waiting for direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document complex systems clearly and train non\-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

  • HubSpot certifications (Marketing, Sales, Service, or Operations Hub).
  • Experience supporting government procurement or compliance\-driven sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with data enrichment platforms (Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay), intent tools (6Sense, Clearbit), or visitor identification platforms.
  • Experience with SQL or BI tools for advanced reporting and data validation.
  • Prior experience at an early\-stage (Series A–B) company where you built or significantly evolved the RevOps function.
