Position Overview
We are looking for a Associate, Sales Operations to join our team to support customers and the sales team through a variety of essential transactional and administrative activities. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and the flexibility to work independently and as art of a team. Key responsibilities include customer support, order entry, data management, and coordinating marketing and event activities to ensure seamless and professional experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
Principal responsibilities include
- Support existing customers through account management activities and act as a liaison between internal departments and customers to ensure a seamless experience.
- Own end\-to\-end order management, including, but not limited to, processing customer orders, prioritizing ER/expedited requests (e.g., next day air), ensuring PO requirements are met, maintaining order documentation in compliance with internal standards, managing sourcing requests and acknowledgements, and collaborating with internal teams to support the customer’s needs.
- Lead the management of customer inquiries, fielding questions and requests through multiple channels including phone, email, and website while ensuring timely, accurate, and customer\-focused responses.
- Maintain and update order data in Salesforce and Sage.
- Ensure accurate and up\-to\-date customer and records in Salesforce.
- Manage administrative support for customers and partners, such as maintaining and auditing product listings on partner websites, managing individual customer requirements, and ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Manage end\-to\-end planning and execution of tradeshows, webinars, and promotional events, including coordinating with external vendors and internal teams.
- Oversee all event logistics, such as participant registration, payment processing, shipment scheduling, and preparation of materials for distribution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact across departments and vendors to ensure seamless event execution and compliance with all event requirements.
Desired Qualifications \& Experience
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3\-5 years in sales operations, customer experience, or inside sales. Strong background in systems, project management, and communication.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications with high level of proficiency in Excel, Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM, and other databases and system relevant to customer and sales operations.

- Demonstrated adaptability and resourcefulness to effectively communicate and collaborate on a cross\-functional basis in coordination with other departments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications with high level of proficiency in Excel, Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM, and other databases and system relevant to customer and sales operations.
- While performing job duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds may be required.
- Residence within 10\-15 miles of Whippany, NJ
