We're looking for a Sales Operations Specialist at Oak Electric to serve as the central connection point between customers, sales teams, operations, and external partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping drive business growth through organization, communication, and continuous improvement.
You'll manage customer inquiries, coordinate appointments, support sales efforts, and help guide projects across generator, solar, HVAC, and residential electrical services from initial contact through project completion. Beyond supporting day\-to\-day operations, you'll play an important role in helping the business scale by embracing new technologies, improving processes, and contributing to the development of AI\-driven workflows and automation that enhance efficiency, customer experience, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Customer \& Sales Support
· Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers.
· Manage inbound inquiries, leads, and customer communications across multiple channels.
· Schedule and coordinate sales appointments for generator, solar, HVAC, and residential electrical services.
· Support sales conversion efforts through timely follow\-up and coordination with sales advisors.
· Assist customers with questions regarding products, services, financing, scheduling, and project timelines.
· Maintain accurate customer records and activity within the CRM.
Project \& Partner Coordination
· Coordinate the transition of sold projects from sales to operations.
· Collaborate with operations teams to support successful project execution.
· Facilitate communication between customers, internal teams, and external partners.
· Support documentation, payment collection, customer incentives, rebates, financing programs, and retail partner requirements.
Technology \& Process Improvement
· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and team productivity.
· Assist in developing and optimizing AI\-driven workflows, automation, and business processes.
· Leverage CRM platforms and digital tools to streamline work and improve data accuracy.
· Support adoption of emerging technologies and best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
· Strong customer service, communication, and relationship\-building skills.
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment.
· Proficiency with CRM systems, business software, and digital collaboration tools.
· Strong technical aptitude and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
· Experience with AI tools, workflow automation, or process improvement initiatives preferred.
· Ability to collaborate across departments while maintaining attention to detail and accountability.
· Experience in home services, construction, retail sales support, customer service, or project coordination is preferred but not required.
Pay: $18\.00 \- $22\.00 per hour
